Something wrong with power steering

No

His ignition switch is at the 'ON' position. The car has not been started, all of your indication lights show up when you turn to the 'ON' position. However, if you start the car and the light still shows, then you got yourself a problem.

Dear Maverickz,

I also have Belta 2010 1.0. What I experience is shared below.

1- When I start car and its in 1st gear and when it goes from 1st to 2nd gear , engine really roars. But afterwards engine sound is normal. That sound is normal ? {FARAZ} Roaring sound is there.. I've read its in all CVT based Auto cars so I didn't worry too much. Even when I try to get quick pick-up / acceleration it would roar for a while.
2- When Car is in D mode and I lift my foot from gas , car stops. Earlier I had Vitz and in Vitz when it was in D mode and even if I lift my foot from gas , car used to still accelerate with speed of 5 km.
{FARAZ}Mine would move ahead at 5-10 KM/h
3- When I stop car on signal or need to park it and move it to P mode , RPM meter shows value of 1 RPM , Shouldn't it goes to 0 ?
{FARAZ}It doesn't go to 0 RPM since engine is still running, how can it run at 0 revolutions.

{FARAZ}By the way, mine stays at around 1.5 so this might also be the reason your car doesn't move forward when you lift your feet off the breaks... just a thought, could be wrong.

As some of you may know I have recently bought Belta 1.0 2010 model (I have changed engine oil -Zic A+ and have also changed the plugs - genuine Denso, bought from mintgumri road lhr ) and have observed few things and would like to that is it normal or do I need to worry about them.

Also there's no issue with the car as it goes away when car's started.

BTW do you guys wait to start the car before Air bag & ABS sign goes off? Check engine light doesn't go away until the car is started (as in some cars you wait till Check engine light goes off)

If you click again on push start button WITHOUT your foot on brake pedal the ignition will turn off completely

Just FYI.. Side mirrors stolen yesterday (almost 3 months after I got the car) from outside Chase at KDA Circle block "F".

Those visiting there should really give car to Valet since they've a guard (Although cars are parked on service lane only).

Hope insurance would cover 70% of the cost.. First quote I got today is between 8-9 K.

One more thing , when I bought it , it had original engine oil and it was in good condition but I still changed it with ZIC A+. And since then I am feeling that engine sound and rive is not so smooth. Although ZIC A+ is a good oil but I feel may be its not suitable for Belta in Winter... what do you think ?

Well, when I bought the car, I sent it to Toyota for initial checkup - Car had only 17K on ODO. They said CVT/Transmission oil is ok but changed engine oil with Toyota "4L-08880-80004-SL/CF TGMO Petron Engine Oil"

It's not so cold in Karachi yet, but I haven't felt any additional sound so far.

35,000 Japanese Yen not PKR. OEM Toyota accessories when new are quite expensive. I also have a set of OEM black ones which are currently in my car. Yes, the tool kit bag has the tire spanner and tow hook.
