Yes Brother, Actually Cost of Both Cars is approx same in Pakistan and we can have a trunk space in Belta, But I preferred vitz just due to more Sporty look.

AoA Everyone,

I called up Toyota to check how often should I change Engine oil ( I put 4L-08880-80004-SL/CF TGMO Petron Engine Oil along with Toyota Oil filter)

The guy advised me to change it after 5000KM when I said It was put when I bought the car in August , he said 5000KM OR 3 months (whichever comes first)

I want you guys to advise should I run 5000 KM (irrespective of duration) ? Its been 3000 KM only at the moment.

Cant really comment on frequency as I use my belta for a month and then its parked for one month (due to my oil field job rotation - one month on and one month off). I always change the oil just after 4500kms on trip meter. I always take it to toyota tarnol motors and they have the previous history by which they guide me what maintenance needs to be done.
I dont know thats a coincidence or what ever we call but Alhamdulillah I have never had any issues with rattling sound or any other noise from engine bay. Also the poorest fuel consumption I get is never below 11km/l, and thats when the 'fast n furious beast' awakes in me and I push my belta to its limits.

Just outta curiosity, was wondering how long do the gear boxex on these Beltas / Vitzs last as you are aware that they are CVTs and if I'm correct I remember reading that they don't have that long a life and the gear boxes die out after a certain amount of kms . Pls correct me if I'm wrong.

In days past, people have kept cars for very long periods past 500,000 kms even. If you check on the Yaris forums also many have Yaris running at 400k km but I dont think they are CVTs. So my question is if I plan to keep my CVT Belta / Vitz for a longer period of time for say a max of 300,000 kms, is it considered a reliable car in the long term as the older model cars like charades etc that we still see on the roads?
