Hi.
I changed cabin filter and Bosch wipers of my 2006 1.3L Belta. imported both from canada. Both of them fit easily in belta. I want to know if transmission filter of belta and Yaris is same. Belta has Cvt and yaris is 4 speed auto. T. filter is not available here. mechanics clean it with cleaner and put it back. I did that twice before and want to change it now.

No, the CVT transmission filter is different from the 4-speed automatic transmission. I am assuming your Belta has the 1KR-FE or 2SZ-FE engine. The only model of the Belta that has a 4-speed automatic gearbox is the 1.3L 4WD variant.

P.S: How much did the wiper blades and cabin air filter cost?

My car has ran for about 85K on the same CVT, I want to change it now, which one to use and where to find it?

TOYOTA CVT-TC oil .
You may get it from toyota dealerships. Or any other spare part shop that you trust.

I don't think the K140 CVT transmission has a filter element that needs replacing when you change the CVT fluid. The chamber gasket and drain tube's O-ring does however require replacement.

Great! Please tell us the rate of the CVT fluid as there is quite a price difference across the country. Also, how much fluid did you need in total?

I have changed only oil.Rest was cleansed only.The price for Toyota CVT-TC was from 4400 to 4900.

I was told that CVT doesn't need changing until 80K. This is contrary to what I earlier read somewhere in this forum that this requires changing at 40K km.

I have put Fuel injector cleaner yesterday (this was sold to me at first maintenance two years ago by Toyota Khalid Bin Walid) - mixing it with Premium fuel from Total Parco.. Lets see how this goes.

I've also been advised by TCM to use 25%-75% ratio of Hi-Octane / Premium.

Any thoughts / comments on above please..

The only problem with high octane is that it's rarely available. If you or anyone knows of a pump where it available please let me know. Most pump owners say that high octane comes once or twice a month.

That's nice information... regarding the 80K...

In Islamabad, HOBC is available in some pumps, I have put it quite a few times during my 70K belta drive...

There is no specific mileage interval to replace the CVT transmission fluid. Most people are replacing it at 60-80,000 kilometers.

If you use hi-octane fuel, you won't need a fuel injector cleaner. Unless you live far from any fuel station that sells hi-octane. Only a few of these octane boosters/fuel injector cleaners really work, depends on which one(s) you are buying. Even a 50:50 ratio of supreme/super with hi-octane works fine.
