thanks alot for the reply,
my mechanic too says that spacers are required, but some guys here dont recommend that, so m confused!
actually it was tyre that touched when i turned the car too much, other wise tyres were quite close to body, but not touching, i know touching continuously would jam or burst! btw what else can be touching???

can u help about that mileage thing too, my mileage seems at lower end as compared to other beltas

and how to search mr.spectra?

Faran or the like had the same issue and later found out his fuel filter was chocked. Have you checked yours? What about the catalytic converter? As for finding Spectra, there is a COMMUNITY tab up there. Click on it, type his name and you'll find him.

didnt check fuel filter or converter, i think the fuel average is not that bad, for which i had to mess with these..... but if the average goes below, i hv already read in the forum the details about both.....

OKay i'm sending it to via PM, Spaces is a very good solution. It is best as compared to a replacement of springs with harder ones. There's almost no effect on drive.

You can go ahead with the installation of the spacers.

Mine is about 12-15 km/day and i get about only 10 km/l

i am driving 100 Km/day and getting 14 plus Km/L with AC , I think consumption also depends on how smooth you drive or how you control Accelerator because of gear auto shifting.

That good, actually I am driving around 3000 KM / month and wanted to know if someone driving more than that to get his opinion about oil change and tuning.

It mostly depends upon your driving style, don't push the paddle too much, if your engine seems to be roaring too much, you must bee sure it is also eating fuel more...

The other day, the Service Manager at Toyota Islamabad Motors told my friend's dad that he could get 18-19km/l on his brand new 1.6 GLi automatic if he changes the gear at 2000 rpm. I know many of yours lack that. Just wanted to share additional info I learnt so late.

I have belta with simple music player picture is attached hereunder. i want to replace it with LCD. Can anyone advice how can i get proper LCD and the person concern who can fix that LCD

Reagarding the LCD you can check the shops on Liberty round about. There is a big shop , m forgetting the name exactly but its adjacent to cross roads outlet on Liberty Round about. I got mine changed with Back view camera and additional rear speakers for 15k plus my jdm Navigation player.

15 inch alloys and good tyres will solve the problem make sure u dont get low profile tyres ....i never had touching issues coz i did the same ...no need for spacers

congrats on ur new belta.
i am also having a severe issue of hitting speed breakers, when 5 ppl are in the car, it hit every breaker, i m too worried about it, i m using default tyres, m planning to change them to R15 soon, i hope this will help, or i may insert spacers otherwise.
the average u r having is awesome! mine is 1.0 & i m getting 12 in city & around 16 on motorway.
i went o isb last week with 5 ppl & truck full of luguage, car;s rear was almost touching the tyres, and even touched the tyres on turns!!! i dont know what the issue can be, may be the shocks are too soft & having some issue, or i really loaded the car too much!!
