As per your requirements, i suggest following in order of priority:-
1. 5th Gen Honda City (Yes, this is within your range and Fits best as per your priorities)
..... Pros: Best Fuel Economy Sedan in your budget.....Easy Aval of parts..... Great for inter-city and intra-city travel
2. 10th Gen Corolla (Gli or Xli)
..... Pros: Wider Body..... Excellent Resale (Highly Demanded in a certain group)..... Good Fuel Economy.... Robust and Durable with good ground clearance.
3. New Alto
..... Pros: New Condition Vehicle..... Transparency(No hidden issues/ faults)..... Good fuel Economy specially in city like Karachi
..... Cons: Not recommended for long journeys, both in terms of safety and comfort. It's best for city use.

9th Gen Corolla (Gli), 7th Gen Honda Civic (Eagle Eyes) and 4th Gen Honda City (Facelift) are good cars but if you can afford newer models, opt for them.

That is so true they have so much money and power that they rule the courts and have lawyers on their speed dial and no ordinary person can compete with them.
But now i have relationships with tons of management from Indus and i know that Toyota Indus has made a lot of changes in the recent years to become better. Quite of their controversies were because all showrooms are franchises and owners want money so does Toyota Indus but most problems before like 2010-2013 around were due to Indus management which has changed quite a lot and after 2013 most malpractices were because of Franchise owners like that mandatory registration and mandatory pre-paid maintenance in 2017.

I had fought that battle too for a friend and that time management of Indus didn't take it seriously until i gave them another dhamaka like this one. but they were better than before this time.

The Big Three still controls market and that too at their terms. Things only turn in favour of consumers when there is a lot of competition in a particular segment, as in case of our Telecommunication Industry.
With the award of Greenfield status to international Automakers and induction of new vehicles, things will surely take a turn in favour of consumers.

2017 Toyota started giving Airbags in all cars including Xli, The new Revo and Fortuner were launched with good features etc and quickly a new 2.8 engine. The new Camry. Facelift Corolla also good real goodies and now Toyota Yaris is launched again new engine and ABS, Airbags, CVT. They are already under pressure and trying to improve their lineup
Kia has already launched 1000cc and soon their sedan will be out too and most probably thats what they are scared of.

Totally Agreed. Kia Sportage also, is a good value for money and doing good in market. Hyundai is yet to launch its Trump Cards.

I dont know why but i think Hyundai wont do good. Hyundai has launched that Santa Fe and yes thats a great car and everything with all the features and good specs but the price made it a failure. I mean taking start from the highest model they dont even have dealership network or their market presence no one will buy that and same thing with the Grand Starex, Very close price to Kia Grand Carnival the Grand Starex looks like a desi loader van like Hiace and Kia Carnival looks like a real Luxury Van so they dont have anything good at all, all shit so i think Hyundai will be a flop and die
Maybe i could be wrong.

Kia on the other hand will snatch more market share once they release more models.
Looking at the same price of Picanto and Cultus VXL, Picanto is 200 times better than Cultus. I mean two or three thing are missing like alloy rims and fog lights but quality is superb and dealership network is increasing month by month. People aernt sold on Picanto right now because its new and resale ki tension and spare parts ki tension and maintenance ki tension is liye its not selling like hot cakes but selling good.
So with time local spare parts of Kia Picanto will arrive and resale will increase and after some point sales will be equal to Cultus.

I have a second 660cc car which im thinking of upgrading to Aqua. After a few months i have plans to invest some money in a new business. If i get a bonus (Other Business) like 4-5 lac which could happen i'll buy Aqua for like 2.6 mil if not then i'll have 2-2.1 mil and already have decided to go for Picanto if that happens.
I have driven both cars. Cultus has slimmest sheet metal in body parts means less weight and slightly better fuel economy, amazing suspension but quality does not satisfy me. I have seen Kia Picanto in details and the tiny tiny extra features and quality matter to me more. Like sun glasses holder, height adjustment on driver seat, better rear leg room, Split rear seats, Rear headrests, etc etc.

OEM Spare parts have same prices. Headlight of both almost cost the same like 2-3k difference. Regular maintenance is a little expensive i think 400 more than cultus but i saw that Suzuki was giving 10W-40 in Cultus and Kia giving 5W-30 so price is equal is 5W30 is poured in Cultus. Brake Pads and filter may be a little expensive but overall i'm all up for Picanto

Altis 1.6 is also avaiable on pakwheels app 2008 2009 and 2010 and you said it was launched in 2011 kindly explain me

Altis 1.8 was there between 2008-11. In 2011 April, Altis 1.8 was discontinued and 1.6 came as a replacement

Altis 1.6 was not available in 2008, 2009 and 2010, rather Altis 1.8 was there. After launch of 10th Gen Facelift in year 2011, Altis 1.6 Replaced Altis 1.8.

1.6 is better in terms of fuel economy, specially Altis 1.6 Manual due to 6 gears. I had kept a Gli and Altis of 10th generation. Altis 1.6 returns me better fuel average than even a Gli except for congested/ stop and go traffic.

Thankyou very much. Saw my uncles 2011 yesterday it also has AVT headlights. AVT is auvitronics. A subsidiary of indus motors or habib group they are making many parts for Corolla now.

Your picture has confused me again. Have short listed 3 cars for tomorrow lets see.

The lights I've checked have AVT embossed on top where transparent lens ends. Didn't check these dirt protectors.

I own corolla altis 1.6 sr cruisetronic 2012 model. On recommendation of Toyota guys i am using taglon 5w-50 in my car, which is working fine. The drive and fuel average numbers are fine. But, the recommended oil for 1.6 dual vvti engine is 5w-30. So, please suggest, should i continue with 5w-50 or switch to low grade oil gradually like 5w-40 (fully synthectic havoline), and then finally to 5w-30. The car is driven 99,300 till now, and next oil change is due on 99,500.
Also inform me if there are any issues regarding changing oil brand , as 5w 50 is toyotas own oil, and 5w-40 fully synthetic is caltex havoline.
