Toyota Corolla Accident - where are safety features?

Where is Indus Motors? Where are air bags, traction control? Safety features???

DRIVER'S HEAD GOT SEPARATED in this accident. I don't have courage to upload that video. Sorry for the gore photos but it is important to keep reminding local manufacturers to " FOR GOD'S SAKE, PLEASE PUT SOME BASIC SAFETY FEATURES AT LEAST"

without seat belts latched air bags will never deploy.

in this case bags deployed, but it got broad sided from left and rolled over. before coming to rest.

broadside impact ..an 8 air bag vehicle may save passengers but roll over can not be prevented either.unless it has a sport grade cabin safety roll cage

It is Toyota Corolla - share the broad side accident safety features

I am not talking about broad side or frontal or any other type of collision. The discussion is about lack of safety features.

Does Japanese/American/Australian Corolla lack traction control and at least 2 airbags?

both are Toyota Corolla tested for safety incase of head-on collison .. you can see the crumple points marked by manufacturer and damage extent ..

traction control the forward motion, how would it prevent roll over ?

only because it is Made in Pakistan don't be-little the Corolla.

What about the dummy passengers? Did they die? Did they suffer fatal injuries?

Grey one driver got hurt because the seat back collapsed, rest of 3 safe. White one no one hurt.

Agreed with the technical stuff you are mentioning.

I am not here to be-little locally assembled vehicles. I would prefer a locally assembled vehicle over a god-damn imported JDM anyday.

However, do you think that Pakistani Corolla has basic safety features?

yes basic safety features: in any automobile after 1931 are as follows:

1. Seat Belts
2. Brakes ( ABS or no ABS )
3. Internal & External warning lights
4. A horn to alert
5. Door locks to prevent theft
6. a parking brake to leave car unattended
   --

all above are upgraded with passage of time, Airbags are intorduced in 1968, but basics remain unchanged

It has safety features but they SHOULD add more airbags. I think at least their should be 4 airbags

When I say basic safety features, it's relevant to the times we are living in. We are not living in an era immediate to 1931.

Please ask a Japanese consumer about what they expect as 'basic' safety features for this age and time. Don't you think ABS, 2 AIRBAGS should be included, at least, with a better strengthened frame ?

Yes overspending is drivers mistake. I will edit and mention this in parent post. However, regardless of this particular accident, the discussion is about lack of safety features in locally manufactured vehicles.

This car rear ended a parked 18 wheeler type huge rig. The car was being driven at a high speed which caused it to almost slip entirely below the truck with its roof completely sliced off.
I honestly don't believe any safety features would have saved the driver.
