Well we had the city 2008, the thing is though I just want a car with a brilliant drive, im not intrested in technology/gadgets.
Cos I have had cars of the very top abroad like bm 7 series 2011,
Audi a4 n other mercs. So I just want a car with a comfy drive!

If drive is your main concern then Civic is the way to go!

If you have driven the 7 series and other premium German brands, do not expect any surprises from Corolla Grande or Civic 9th generation. There is no competition between the premium Germans and the average Japanese cars. In fact, maybe you should go for a used 5 series or E-class in the Rs 3-4 million range. Anyway, haven driven 7-series , S-class , E-class, I think Civic 9th generation is a better choice if you have to choose between the two cars because of agility, interior material quality, multi-media display - all making the overall driving experience in Civic more refined! But again, the Germans are Germans!

Absolutely, Corolla ALTIS Grande, Civic seems to be everywhere in the Pakistan.. Civic owners are jealous enough from the "New Corolla" & are complaining a lot about it.
Some special features Corolla ALTIS Grande has.
1:- Rain Sensors
2:- Paddle Shift
3:- CVTI Engine
4:- Android Based Touch Screen!!
Also Corolla is a SOLID Car! I've driven both, Civic and Corolla, But Civic doesn't has the fun Corolla does, Go for Corolla if you've driven the Civic!
Enjoyment is everywhere in the car!

I have Both New Corolla ( 1.3 Auto Not Altis ) and 2014 civic
I am not comparing the performance and acceleration here

Civic is a better car overall
Interior layout design , comfort and more softer n comfortable seats than corolla, solid feel and better quality of interior , multiplex meter with i mid display simply leaves corolla behind ..
Exterior styling and shape
Corolla wins for sure
Better suspension for our bad roads
Again corolla wins
But if you get some branded and better soft tyres for civic , it is quite comfortable too , difference is not that much ..
Both are equally good
But still after using both i would say Go for Civic
Gives a great feel when you drive it

Yeah I agree with u mate alot of people have praised civics drive. My budget is 2.7 million max so cant get any decent german car here..back in the uk u could get many luxury cars in the range like I mentioned not here though

Before providing you with my opinion, I would like to know that your new car will be driven in what sort of area i.e. rural / urban / sub urban?

Because , as an old driver, I would give you my best opinion based upon my experiences.

If you're going to drive in rural / countryside areas, then go for Toyota.
If you're going to drive in urban / sub urban areas, then go for Honda.

Toyota's suspension has more tendency to cope up with the rural areas of our country, whereas Honda's are best in the urban areas.

Also, not sure if you'll be looking at MPG or not.

At the end of the day, it's your call

not creating any issue here but CVTI is not an engine type, its a transmission. and its nothing new, Vitz, City, Airwave etc all have CVT transmissions. Correct it if you want to increase the credibility of your post

so the 6 speed manual variant is also known as 6-speed manual engine? perfection indeed. As for the android touch screen, bro its android compatible which means connect your phone via usb and you can play your songs from the phone. thats it.
