Grabbed a May booking in one of the showrooms in Isb for the X variant So already 5 months wait time .
The car's definitely doing good in bookings.
Surprisingly they were saying that we can get the base variant in feb with full payment , so it seems people are only booking the higher x variant

its not about civic corolla war again. its simple, we have not got the sedan so no comparison whatsoever. We know Sedan has a different buyer and customer in any case. We will see how many care for mileage at 10 million tag. My test drive today revealed that it has lesser response than Sportage/ Tuscon. Engine makes too much noise vs Sportage , for example. Looks are good, mileage will be excellent. Mileage thing matters for 3-4 million segment and right now in our economy 10 million is really a lot of money.

Someone buying a sedan will spend 30 million but will still get a sedan, regardless of SUV options. That's purely personal preference.

I disagree , Fuel economy does matter especially when its this high and there is no assurity that it won't go higher just after elections.This is Pakistan where one can buy a 10 million car enjoy the good fuel economy enjoy it for a few years and sell it at the same price or more than purchase price.

If fuel economy doesn't matter 10 million plus why do I see soo many more Haval h6 HEV in DHA Isb compared to hardly any 1.5 or 2.0 when those options are cheaper.

Sir because Havel HEV has power and features too. Spacious as well. Haval is complete kind of product. No one bought haval HEV for mileage.. they bought it for power, and features as it's their top of line. Atleast so many in owners in family says yar.. saray shashkay HEV main hain.

When u spend 10 million , 12 million isnt too hard considering leasing is virtually not an option now due to 3 million limit. Khata peeta bnda hi leta hai to wo konsa sab bech ker 10 million kerta hai. agar 1000 cars bhi book hoti to ab tak date january to na hoti

Sir I know it's your money your choice but what made you buy cross when there are many other options around? I am just curious that's all.

Offered January to us .. via Faisal Bank and Alfalah. If u exchange with any car, Jan is available too per the Dealership. I think bank means they get full payment. 5 months wait is a lot since 5 months means 10 lac profit in 5 months on 1 crore these days. Different in different cities perhaps

Already have a Sportage , Fuel economy matters to me. Fuel expenses take a major toll on monthly savings , Toyota reliability and warranty matter to me , had considered CHR fresh import many times but too small , this is a much better option , added 3.5 mil from savings for this upgrade but it'll be an asset and it'll sell more than this in a few years too just like my sportage.

In isb its completely different , High variant is not being booked till April atleast ,talking about partial bookings not full payment . I did not enquire about full payment bookings.

Right... in the current times, 5 months times seems too much. I hope it serves u well since it seems ur usage is a lot. I think u should check with the dealership again since so far very few cars are booked. As of now, here is the status in ISB.. it's Feb 2024

Ground reality is different actually , those are full payment bookings even for the higher variant, call them and enquire about booking in the morning if you want , I booked from Toyota Rawal

Won't it be better to get Feb delivery on full payment vs waiting for 5 months? There is no price lock and Dollar will go north big time soon. It's on the cards, so it's risky from buying perspective.

In Pakistan, early delivery is always worth it. Dollar will not remain here for long as per all economists and international estimates.

Top variant is always worth buying in any car. base is criplpled

Not everyone has ready 10 million in bank , its alot more manageable to book at 3 million and get some time to dispose of your main car at a decent price and pay the remaining amount after a little while

Comparing haval vs toyata is like comparing Xiaomi vs Apple to me and you know which one to get. I have the money to get Santa Fe and Haval but I still want to get a Cross for daily runner because I know I will get parts and all the service back up in case if anything happens to the vehicle.
Koreans and Chinese are known to be more features in less price worldwide. No one in the world prefers a Chinese or Korean over a Toyota when the price bracket is same.
As per you whole hybrid and electric vehicle concept is just useless because no one cares about the mileage?

Sir it depends where you live. Outside big cities no one even consider civic while buying a sedan. I have one of my office in a rural area and have not seen a single civic in that area in last five years. While I see Corollas daily of every generation and model.

Bhai Haval sales are pretty good.. Khair u can have ur verdict. Hybrid with Power is what haval offers. Cross has no space, no power... just hybrid... that's the only point. Itni hit hoti to CBU bikta naa.

I m not against hybrids, i'm considering our market. Let's see in 6 months...

Cbu didn't sell coz back then fuel prices were around 140 if I remember correctly (November December 21).
Also its price was competing with Fortuner , I remember we had booked a 21 G variant its invoice was 79.40 and petrol v variant was around 86 whereas cross CBU top variant was somewhere around 88.

Compared to now when fuel is at such a high rate with ever risk of increasing more, with dollar rate & the same fortuner variant G is for 1.45 and the v variant for 1.70 the difference is huge as it should be. back then Tucson and sportage were around 50-57 , makes sense why it didn't sell back then.
