There are quite a few good options around the price of a Gasoline Cross, but that depends on if you consider them good.

I'd generally recommend Jolion, Oshan X7, or HS Essence around that price.

I used to believe the same but it's not true anymore. To understand this you have look into the reliability of models other than those sold in Pakistan. Toyota is going down in terms of reliability.

I remember seeing a video of one and toyota denying warranty in the states, that he revved it high lol.

With honda 1.5T engines there have been issues with head gasket failures due to head bolts stretching where they had more output like on the accord 1.5T. Still great engines but not as good as their own NA engines. It seems they are phasing out the 1.5T, no more in north america and asean market now as the lower trim option with the 2L hybrid taking over. Lets see what the next gen brings.

Just got 2014 Sonata with 290k kilometers. Waiting for the engine to blow up anytime soon XD Thankfully no oil consumption as it's documented for the gen I have.

I never said other brands are not reliable but when you compare them with Toyota, they are on a lower level of reliability. Just to add my brother have kept a Santa Fe 2014 with 310k on odometer and no issues at all

just because you have a honda your saying all this.. i can post 10 videos of honda giving problems for every one video you shared over here ..toyota is still way more reliable then any other car company and whenever an issue arises they are quick to rectify and fix it a process known as kaizen.. where as a company like honda which used to be reliable has now gone so low in reliability and customer satisfaction that they cant even fix a damn steering rack in 8 years and a gen has changed but issues are still there ..its honda whose reliability has gone down hill over the past decades ..you can search this on google,ai you will find the same answer.. the 1.5 turbo engines of honda have knocking and oil dilution issues where the clmate is colder and knocking is even present in pak civics so not even on the same level.

still more reliable then honda.. first see the knocking and oil dilution issues in 1.5t engine of hondas then see the other issues its still way less reliable in consumer ratings even a bmw is now having almost similar reliability as newer hondas thats how the situation is ..

toyota is still the leader in reliability while honda comes on 5th or 6th spot.

Toyota is going down in terms of reliability.

This isn't new either and has been going on for the past several years with government level and regulatory investigations also finding issues with Toyota and it's related brands including Daihatsu, Hino and Lexus, specially regarding falsifying safety reports and lying about vehicle emissions etc.

All of this is well documented and covered by mainstream media over the years including CNN, Reuters (1, 2), Associated Press, US Govt. (1, 2), and Japanese media (1, 2, 3, 4).

And before you start saying I'm an anti-Toyota fanboy, I myself drive a JDM Toyota hybrid and it isn't my first JDM Toyota or Lexus hybrid either.

stating bias on here say isnt a very logical thing to do .. how can you say that the reliability isnt what it used to be ? it still ranks one of the best in consumer reliability ratings all the person who say such things are usually envious honda or other company made car owners who cant digest the fact that Toyota vehicles are still somewhat dependable as compared to the competition..a company which cant even fix a steering rack in 8 damn years is what needs to be called out for spiriling down reliability ratings ..and it shows now this company ranks 6th or 5th place in consumer reliability ratings its all there on google you just have to search it..after all issues come in all car brands but rectifying and making sure it doesnt come again is whats the difference which you or any other person against this cant understand. atleast talk with real facts and figures!
