I was using Petron plus in my Altis 1.6 fl. The maximum average I got was 13 k.m/l .
In December I tried Zic 0w30 and amazingly It gave average of 15.2 K.M/l on same route and same load. I don't know weather 0w30 is safe or not but I used it because of winter season. The difference of 2 k.m/l is big one I think. I use full tank method for calculations not rely on car digital meter

Yes it is fully synthetic oil. On last oil AC was not running in December days.

Cvt is continuous variable transmission which changes gear ratios seamlessly via a belt running over a set of pulleys while Atf is automatic self shifting transmission - the conventional auto system. When Toyota says 7 speed grande, it does not mean that grande has 7 gears but 7 ratios which the cvt belt can drive/perform etc.

I am changing it after 8000 kms or 6 months, whichever comes first.
