Before oil change I went to Hyderabad via Motorway from Karachi and the average I got was 16.5-18kmpl

Just few days ago I went to Hyderabad, my 2014 model GLi gave me average of 17.3 as per odo and on return to Karachi it gave average of 15.5 with speed between 90 to 110/km

I got my oil changed from Toyota Capital (I-9) and they gave me 1 liter of 5W30 which they poured from a 4 liter tin of 5w30. I had specifically inquired about the requirement of 4.2L and the tin having 4 liters, they told me they will give me 1 liter of 5W30. Same is shown in the sales receipt i pasted above.

Currently i have 0.8 liters of 5W30, which i will use in my next oil change

Fuel average is great on Taglon, using since three years without any issue. Cat con cleaning is required at 40,000 kms in any case.

Catalytic converter runs longer if fuel and/ or engine oil quality is good provided the other periodic maintenance like spark plugs replacement etc is done on time. .

This was the 5w30 tin. They poured 1 liter from it into an empty bottle of 5w50 i think. I dont have that bottle at the moment as it is in Islamabad and i am in Quetta at the moment

That's wiered. U had oil change in Islamabad..this is a good oil actually. I only trust if they use sealed box even for 1L. Open box means ZERO guarantee what's inside

Wait... Are you supposed to pour 4 liters and 200ml more oil? The owner’s manual got me confused. Back when I was getting the engine oil changed, I asked the mechanic twice whether will it be 4 liters or 4.2 liters and he recommended 4 liters for my 1.6.

I still have 1-liter Quartz bottle laying around. Might pour that 200ml if it is right.

Its 4.2 L. Please understand bhaim.our mechanics are mostly without any technical knowledge. Ur car needs 4.2
