As per problem statement described by you that car’s cold start is ok but once car is driven for quite a while and then attempt to start fails. Perhaps, it might be due to some weakened battery cell. I may be wrong but as said earlier, please take it to toyota dealership

I had similar issue with one of my car and culprit was fuel pump, so take it to dealership and if its pump then it will be replaced under warranty

Take it to the dealership.. No point of buying a new car and taking to outside mechanic when you spent so much for warranty... I don't know how you checked the fuel pump because the occasional start up issue in a new car cannot be related to anything that you got cleaned... My 1.6 Altis had same occasional startup issue due to faulty fuel pump

Did you install after market central locking system?

Check connection of locking system, there might be any loose connection. I had the same issue in my cultus and electrician fixed that by making sure the connections are not loose and after that i didnt face that issue

The car feels more light. Tho haven't used the car that much after oil change. The mileage first dropped but it back to 10-11km/l.

Any idea how to fix it? I tried using waterless wash and then menzerna 1 step polish by hand. Made almost no difference.
I'll go see a detailer tomorrow but I just hope it doesn't require a repaint.

Use clay bar or ask good detailer to use clay bar. Avoid rubbing as it will wear off paint layers

Battery is OK. The main culprit is fuel pump. It starts missing on it's own. Have called Walton motors and they are saying that this model has fuel pump issue. Hopefully new pump ll solve the issue. Will update after change

Oh yea there were fuel pump issues and cars were recalled recently

So IMC has launched 1.6 manual. What is missing in manual variant as compare to auto?

It doesn't have alloy rims. I think the rest is same.

Apart from differences in gearbox, manual variant comes with 15" steel wheels instead of 16" alloy rims of auto variant. Driver seat height adjustment is also not available in manual variant.

Rims should be there for altis badge or they should name it as GLTIS
