Does not effect he fuel ave I will say, but the kms reader at the odo gets messed up shows 7 or 8kms/ltr or 6.5kms for new cars and later after few kms, if the driver is fuel ave aware it gets back to 10.5 or 11.5km/ltr. -- So not to blame the engine because of ODO display.

From the past three to four days, im noticing one more thing and that is when i release the clutch to move the car from stand still, there is a noticeable vibration which is to be felt on the dashboard. It happens every time. The vibration can also be felt in the pedals. What it could be? My mechanic is not to agree that this is the issue related to clutch.
Im also going to check it from other mechanic. This thing actually bugs me too much..
One more thing, when should be the injectors checked/cleaned. I haven't had it in the past. Thinking to use LM product and take her to highway. Idling might improve. What is your comments on it.??

Yesterday I got my car checked form another old mechanic of mine. He also said that the flywheel should be faced and plates set should be fixed by a mechanist as the vibration is there in the car and also at the time of depressing clutch, slight jerking is there. He also advised to check the back mounting for the cracks.
Im going to give the car again today and he will open the gear box. Will face the flywheel and fix the plates again. Lets see how it goes.

Im mechanic has opened the gearbox and according to him the flywheel needs to be faced. He is doing it.
He is also saying that the mounting is broken however i think that it can go. Allah knows if its mine or someone else

Suggestion required either i should change it or let it like this. If it needs replacement i shall get it done later on.

i think, 1st u get the flywheel faced and notice how much impact it has on ur problem.

it will help u isolate the cause of problem.

the rubber is maintaining its shape which is important, and not broken to extensive level.

in any case u can replace this mount easily anytime.

dont let the mechanic put the root cause split on many things

Was the clutch burnished after install? Or you just went wheelspinning or normal driving?

Sir i got the car back. Clutch is smooth and the movement of car from stand still to motion is also improved.
The rubber mounts are there as it is. However the vibration is still there but i think it has to be somewhat related to injector coz i have replaced the injector twice and i know how it vibrates when one injector is down. Actually few days back on idle the rpm dropped suddenly to 500 and the same vibration I used to face with the bad injector but it went well. Now the issue is, when i rev the engine from 1000rpm to 2000rpm I feel vibration. It is just my thought that might be the injector is not working properly. I need to clean them as i havent done it before. My car is restricted to city driving only and very rarely has seen motorways. I have used poured STP injector cleaner yesterday but i don't think so it will resolve my issue,
I know my car, I have been driving her from last 13 years and i know it doesnto vibrate when reving from 1000rpm to 2000rpm. My mechanic kept me saying its the genuine fault of all corollas of this model you can check.
Im thinking to get my Injectors cleans. Anyone can guide how and from where i can get it cleaned to get 100per output from it.

According to my mechanic, he said flywheel was ok and that is why i didn't sent it for tooling.

please consider the proper burnishing of clutch before moving on to other remedies related to clutch, as mentioned by Guru in post above...u can do some research online for the process...

regarding cleaning injector, the liquids available off the shelf claiming injector cleaning do little good rather do more harm by contaminating the fuel system.

please consider the ultrasonic cleaning and pattern checking for injectors, better option is replace with correct part, our desi ustaads also try cleaning then using pressurized carb cleaner and giving pulse to injectors manually, sometimes it dislodged the particles stuck but still its not a reliable method...

sudden lowering of idle rpm may also suggest some electrical issue ( coils or plugs ) or the IACV getting stuck at some point, please check that as its an easy fix

Yes im looking for some workshop who can clean them ultrasonically. I know there was a shop in Model town who does that but im not aware of the result.

Right sir. A month back one of my injector went bad. I replaced it and also got the throttle body serviced. Shall I get OBD to diagnose the rpm issue?
