Magic Motors,Model Town A block Mkt,Lahore, used to have this ultra sonic cleaning machine, tried them 10 years back, used to be one of highly equipped workshops back then...

but i remember, injector cleaning didnt do anything atall, pattern was almost same before and after...maybe just my experience.

scanning car for errors with proper tool is always a good idea, but some intermitted issues like coils/plug may need live testing and observation of values under driving conditions...

just my 2 cents, experts can guide u better

How was your experience with Magic Motors? After the job done, did you find any difference in idling, pickup, fuel average??

Clutch burnishing is like brake pad burnishing, you slip the clutch at lower rpm for about 30 seconds so the lining starts to roast, this beds the new clutch lining to the freshly deglazed flywheel and pressure plate. This is the job of the mechanic and can only be done once or twice after brand new install.

Deglaze means just the shiny deposits have been removed with a carbide buffer, cutting is not necessary.

Alright sir. What about the vibration issue when i rev my engine from 1k rpm to 2k rpm. It was not there before this work. Secondly it might be a coincidence that after the work the injector started malfunction. Ill get the injectors checked tomorrow.
If my mechanic have not burnished the clutch can it be some other method to do it now

there is a small window of time when the clutch friction plate is fresh for the mechanic to burnish it.

For the vibration issue, if its just a rumbly vibration then the engine mounts need to be torqued again properly or checked for fatigue. if its an actual dead misfire then you have a fuel or ignition issue.

Finally got rid of the noise. Turns out it was a bad right rear wheel hub.

The sound echoes through the cabin. Best way to check it is stethescope or the spring itself.

Let this be a learning lesson to not visit unexperienced or tukka fire shops, diagnosis should be 100% done and true before tearing down for repair. Otherwise your wallet will suffer at the hands of such workshops.

In most of the world such workshops are known to have “parts cannons” they load it up and shoot parts at the car hoping one will work.

How you measure exactly from the fuel gauge's needle that how much petrol is burning. Because its tricky to measure. till half tank needle's goes down slowly and after that it goes fast.

Anyone know which shocks should I go for? I am talking about the rear one. I told mechanic that I wanted new so he said then you can get agriautos shocks costing around 10,000 rupees.

Agri autos is sasta and tikao with warranty. If possible purchase it your self. Else let the mechanic buy it but try to install them in front of you hardly takes 30 minutes in the swap.

Life would be so easy, Only if everyone started doing their jobs honestly. I got rid of this noise after aproxximatly 8 months.

What would you suggest even if I personally purchase a stethoscope, how to check for the noise specially since this sound is undetectable on a parked car. Can't Jackup and check on the rear since this came beyond 60 kmph.

Wheel bearing noise is easily detected with a stethescope with car on jackstands.

You just have to spin the wheel and touch the scope finger to the hub bearing boss, you will hear the rough noise loud as a concert.

You can invest in some electronic chassis ears and learn to use them.
