I have thought about it many times but I fear that as it's electronic so it's wiring will be complex for our nitto tape electricians who even don't carry a voltmeter 🤦.And they will mess up the eps and it won't properly like getting hard at high speeds and soft at low speeds.
And eps is also sensitive to water and can mess up it,s sensors or motor itself.Otherwise eps feels really soft and easy to steer and has no oil leakage problem.Also load on engine is reduced.
I think 1nz power steering pump demand is less because majority of cars with 1nz engine like x corolla,axio, fielder etc comes with eps hence less demand for pump.In workshop I have seen another Indus corolla with 1nz pump.
