plus one more !! how can i check if my engine has balance air to fuel ratio !! i think its rich right now !!! any tips to fine tune it ?
There's any smoke?Oxygen sensor is there to balance it.
no im just saying because of blacked out spark plugs
obd1 also gives mixture code.your ecu is 5efe right? i can be a reason of unstable mixture.but complete others thing first then come to this problem.
no bro not 5efe
its 4efe 89661- 10170
the ECu which didnt work was 4efe 89661- 10190
Right. Maybe throttle boy is dirty.
yeah shud clean it !! thanks for the support !!
Never mention.
Adjust TPS. look for TPS adjustment valuesshort pins TE1 and E1 on ECU...and look for error codes..(make sure CEL is connected or use LED )this ECU shld have o2 sensor(oxygen sensor) with it..make sure its working and connectedall sensors shld work in order for engine to run on optimal AFR's
bro in connecting a check engine light !! one end of light goes to the W pin on ecu and the other one is ground right !! according to the bulbs polarity !!
I remember Ecu will lead negative.
ohh okay thanks !!
and bro how to wire up the coolant temp !! i have 3 pin socket near the thermostat and single pin connector from the back !!
Share the pic of the connectors
Usually when i switch the ignition the fan relay is switched on and the current flow cuts off to the fan (talking about usually on relay )
but as soon as i connect to the sensor the relay turns off !! causing the fan to work this happens when the engine is cool !!
and i had single pin sensors in my 2e engine
i tested with two pin sensor alsoo !! still the fan switches on when the engine is cold !!
That's because it's not fail save relay mechanism. This switch shorts the ground when it's cold, and when it gets hot it behave like open circuit. In fail save relay you have to use normal close pin of relay.Means when Ignition turns ON relay opens. When sensor behave as open circuit relay turns OFF and Fan start working.
heres what happning
i removed the sensor connector turned on the ignition relay FAN switched ON (FAN doesnt work at this stage )
but as i connect the sensor connector te fan starts working
i mean it should be the other way around right ?
On ignition on when sensor socket unplugs fan should start working because circuit opens and relay turns off.If it's behaving like this then it's fine.
i know bro i saw on a video !! but in mine its compltly the other way !! its the opposite of what ur tallking about
Then connection is done on normally close pin.I'm not at home so can't share the pic how i did the connection. Still 87a is connected to fan
