Contact your dealership and tell them that you will submit a complaint in Consumer Court & Write an application to Ministry Of Industry & Production, copy will be sent to Pakistan Compitition commission.
If they still not listen then do the above.

These dealerships are running a ratchet, I have two Fortuners one of them has been delivered a week at the dealership, I still can't get it pathetic customer service by Toyota Western Site Karachi, which is already a month delayed and there is no tentative date for the second one. DO NOT BUY FROM TOYOTA WESTERN WORST DEALERSHIP EVER.

is there any difference between a car being delivered in December (2017) and January(2018). i have heard that model (manufacturing year) will change accordingly and you'll loose money when ever you plan to sell it .

Can someone tell me if the second row seats move forward and backward (not talking about recline) cause there is a lever under the seat and its also mentioned in the manual? TIA

Yes it matters. But some people buy in 2017 and will get it registered in 2018 .. has less impact depends on buyer to buyer

Its the same story with all of them, be it Toyota, Honda or Suzuki. That is why people prefer to pay own money to buy new car, so they don't get fooled around by dealers. At least they booked your fortuner. Toyota Walton Motors Lahore has taken 1 mil pay order and 252,000 cash and are not processing order.

Yes the second row seats slide/move forward and backwards with that lever underneath. I too thought that's what it is and I checked and that's exactly what it was.

I can provide an accurate review (after I get my Fortuner) based on the fact that I had Prado 120 TZ G 3.4 for day to day use for 5 years (2010-2015), and also for off-roading. Took it to Deosai Plains from Skardu side on a tricky off-road track. I even saw an abandoned Hilux Vigo half submerged in mud, was nervous to cross the same mud patch, buy Prado crossed it easily.

I have my expectations set pretty low for Fortuner, I think the ride comfort and off-road capabilities will be more towards Hilux than Prado.

For now, the only thing I can say for sure is that the seats of Fortuner are not very comfortable, especially rear seats. I went to showroom and sat on back seat of Fortuner and then on back seat of Corolla. I didn't see much difference. Prado's seats are far more comfortable than Fortuner.

I have to keep it confidential but with strong sources own today is 6-8 lakhs, which is utter ridiculous and with such shame I have to say that people are buying, more like have to buy it.

Its slightly hard. Sit on the seat and do it just like you slide front seats manually. Mine also doesn't slide unless you sit on it. And still its a bit hard

For the same reason you pay duty to Govt. that's more than the actual price of a Prado or LC.
