If both variants come with exact same exterior and VSC equipped
- Petrol variant will take still 75% of the sales even without 4x4 at half million rupees less,
with less expensive fuel option & half easier/cheaper to maintain.
( 80% of the current Pakistani SUV owners don't do proper 4X4 or haven't even experienced the need... Most of them own it show their status and fulfil large family needs ).
95% or more new SUVs are petrol in Pakistan and even those old ones like VX limited land cruisers 1998 onwards are converted to petrol, Prados 1992 onwards and even 97 onwards are converted to petrol even few on CNG as well. Reason easy maintenance and economical to drive and avoiding village friendly tractor like rattle and better resale.
100% of the imported new SUVs are petrol.
