Do connect the heater pipes matter what mechanic says because if not connected there will be no water/coolant circulation in heater core which will later on catch rust and you whole heater system will be useless.
Also you will face issue in winter cleaning the front windshield due to fog.
You have to use Ac in winter.

I could not take pics of the bay in day light, will take them tomorrow and share with you guys for sure. Please bear with me. It was a tough tough day.

I need guidance regarsing the following three issues.

1. High RPM, when i brought the car home the RPM stays high when in neutral around 1200 to 1300, while testing I did see it come to 600 and get very smooth and stable but now its revving to 1200 to 1300 when neutral. While appying brakes it does come below 1000. The electrician showed me the idle sensor maybe after that he missed something.

2. There are two pipes on the throttle body and they have looped them as well. Please confirm the functionality of em as the mecahnic saying it has no finction. Picture attched.

3. There is no check engine light in my speedometer as per the electrician so he showed me all codes by connecting the a light bulb to the ECU and shorting the two wires on the diagnoser.

   

There were a couple other issues will discuss later.

High idle rpms are due to vaccum leak.

There are two pipes on the throttle body and they have looped them as well.

These two pipes are connected to thermostate housing to take hot water into the throttle body to prevent any kind of freezing of the TB valve in extreme cold conditions by having water from the cooling system run through it.
Another purpose is to heat the air before enterring to engine to evaporate any moisture present in it.

These pipes are connected to FICD(fast idle control device).to compensate the rpms drop after air cond turns on.it is mounted on the firewal.

Btw these things should be included in package and u had to verify there presence.

How is it possible that this cluster does not have check engine light.your electrition seems to be nitto tapped.

I think its 2nd generation 5afe .... Why u not go for 3rd generation 5afe ?

These guys are so difficult to deal with if working on a budget, they rip you off from all angles. I ll also get this checked from another electrician.

5A M/T are so hard to find and then in good condition is rare. But honestly i didn't know how to check the generation. Let me attach a few pics now.

Here is the engine in the bay. The generator had issue will be replaced tomorrow as shops got closed.

looks clean....kindly use the original grip for upper coolant hose fixed to radiator....jubilee clamp cannot compensate with change in temp and will eventualt crack break water tank

Actually I plan to change my radiator after some time as its very old and requires replacement. Will keep this is mind at that time.

To wire up check engine light

The W terminal outs 12V -ve to illuminate the check engine light - meaning you need 12V on the other leg of the bulb.

ECU (W)===>12-ve===>LAMP<====<12+ve Battery/Ignition. thats how its supposed to be.

Electrician has not done his job properly. And you should have asked the seller that what is this you are paying him 140k for 5AFE and things are faulty why? I’d advise to check compression asap.
