Any recommendations regarding routine maintenance of passo 2012 xl model with 1000 cc engine?

Inspect spark plug every 20k km (if copper plugs are installed)
Inspect pcv valve every 40k km
Inspect valve clearance at every 100k km

Hi! Anyone knows where to find usb cable for inbuilt HDD storage of navigation installed in passo model NH3T-W55 36050 (picture attached)

thats a 4 pin firewire port. You can use firewire cable if you have a computer with firewire port otherwise you will need a usb to firewire cable/ covertor from a good computer accessories shop

You will find it there in min price, wese to sader se bhi mill jae ga but thora manga mille ga

Anybody know of any rust protector? I want to apply inside bonut, since a bit of rust is coming, very less, like on screw heads and stuff but I want to protect it from the begining since i live in defence and rust easily catches metal here

1st spray wd40 on it (if you don't have it then use little coke or any soda ) then apply any spray paint on it to save it from further getting rust.

Plz note, if it is in some place front which can be easily seen then don't apply spray paint. Later on when you want to sell people will think that is was damaged and repaired
Only apply little grease on it.

Spray paint is much better option, if you can apply that.

Today i went out to buy my passo's air filter and back drum brakes pads
As the previous owner told me to replace those when possible.

The original air filter of toyota, made in japan = 1300rs

4 brake pads for rear drum brakes = 3700 rs

Also asked the price of wind screen, it was 7000rs and 1000 for fitting.

As i am thinking to replace it also in future.
Mine has a stone hitting scratches on 2-3 places

Not very major but still it irritates me when i see them.

My only concern is that, this screen is Malaysian made which is available

Will it be good and up to the mark?

And will they can do proper fitting?

Anyone has this experience can share with me.

I have no experience but i have read in this forum and on Internet stuff, that Malaysia has same Models as in Japan. So fitting and quality would be same Approx.

Passo and boon are same cars

Both cars are made by daihatsu
They just release them with 2 names and monograms one with there own and one with toyota
As toyota own daihatsu now

Now about variants there are many like g,x,xl,hana,hana + etc

Don't worry about that, jist find any good passo or boon in your range and after checking it. if it is clean car go with it.

If you have a choice then buy hana or any variant with full features like sofa seat, climate control etc

recently i am told there is ECU upgrade available, and after that passo will function will be upgraded from 5-speed to 7-speed. also it will result in further optimization in fuel consumption. this will be only software upgrade, and no hardware changes will be done.
is it true? is it trustworthy?

I am using Passo 2012 model from last 06 months and do not know whether it is XL, XV , G or what. It has rear wipers and cut seats. No fog lights.
