Ya same case with me. There was no knocking in winters.but in summers it knocks even whatever type of fuel you pour in it.
5w30 seems fine to me. When I switched to 5w20 in winters.there was irritating sound of tapets from engine. So i again opted 5w30 Lm.and now its fine. There wasn't much effect in milleage. I'll surely try again 0w20 in it if someone gives me assurance that thinner oil means lesser the fuel consumption.
So, shall i go for 5w30? I am going tomorroe for a complete tuning. Oil filter, throttle body, plugs changing, oil and air filter. May I get the cat converter serviced too? Thanks. It has done 97k mileage
Use liqui moly 530 you will get best average and great performance. Using it from.the start in eco mode without ac getting 20average. With ac on in city eco of getting 15 plus always.
530.is better I tried 020 when I bought passo as per manual but aftrr 530 I got more average and no knocking issue. 530 is good all.year long. Regards

how much of a difference with and without AC ? like my car is giving me 14 Km per liter these days with full AC on. In winters it easily touches 18 Km per liter in city driving conditions. My tuning is due next month, but just got cat converter and oxygen sensor cleaned a couple of days ago.
Yes you are correct. I went to the local auto stores in Islamabad and found that the filters for sale are of HEPA (white) material while the original Passo filter is carbon impregnated (dark grey) material. From a size point of view the Corolla filter will fit.
I changed after 7 to 9k km. I drive almost 120 km.daily. It is fully synthetic Lm 5w30 oil. Costs 4200 for 4 litres. You can search their website. I dont have image right now brother. But I can refer you to genuine shops where you can.get original oil.

In passo, fuel filter and fuel pump are combined. They fit underneath the rear seat inside fuel tank. This is similar to all the latest corollas produced now.

Fuel pump, filter and gauge is combined in one assembly. Your mechanic will just insert the grips and you are good to go. Kaabli one will cost you around 4000-5000.

Its fine. My car gives me an average of 18 in winters and 15 with ac in summers. Will someone tell me what is the reason of irritating "tik tik" sound from my car front passenger door. I thing its coming from the fittings of the door my car is totally new. Is it due to oem tyre size.
