Correct me if I am wrong. There are two types of cvti oils for.toyota.
1. Toyota cvti froudetc.
2. Cvti. (as per shop keeper telling me)
I have 2014 hana passo. Changed oil to cvti froude tc. But still in doubt. If anyone have manual then do let me.know which gear oil is recommended. The manual I have is 2012 so I am not sure. Regards

What it has to do with tick tick. I think sound tik tik is coming from interior of door or from that interior fittings of door

Today changed 5w30 after almost 6.5k km. Oil was black looks like oil was badly burnt. But viscosity was still there. I was expecting better colour of oil after 6500km but mechnaic told me this is due to the summers and Ac.

Depends on driving conditions, driving stlye and the quantity amd quality of fuel refilled. I mostly refill on last spot when last bar starts blinking. Against autofill(2000rs) my car runs for 420km if I only drive it on kashmir highway. In sadar or on murree road. My car lasts for almost 380-400km. This was readings with Ac

you can but the mechanics try their best to not to let u do that :). their excuse is that once filter is dirty it cant be cleaned, although when u go to buy the replacement pump for 6,000 you find out that all they did was washed the filter of a used pump and now selling it to you.
although given your situation (pick problem) i dont think it is required but if you are very keen on doing so you can go to any old jap spares guy and ask him for china assembly for your fuel pump. what they will do is to take the pump motor out of your existing pump and put it in a new assembly (quality of the assembly wont be as good as yours) and fit it in your car and charge u anything between 1200 - 2000 for this. I had a belta done in a similar fashion from siddique autos mithu khan by reference of naseer autos chour chowk RWP. if you wish you can use the same.
now if you are really concerned about the pick please do the following:
1. change plugs if damaged or overused by DENSO VKH20
2. change air filter with any decent brand
3. get a mechanic to spray some injector cleaner in the throtle control and vaccum valve.
4. use a decent 5W-30 oil.
5. if the problem is only when using ac (very common in used JDM) than get the ac pressure checked, on a normal day i.e.40C outside temperature your ac pressures should be lower side = 30, higher side= 180. if your are getting something like 250 on higher side than your ac condenser or valve is choked causing the compressor to over work, get it checked.

Wajahat i dont have any issues with Cooling System its working perfect i have issues with the milage Recently I am thinking to Service the manifold and oil Change is already due Usually i use Havoline SAW 10W-30 (HAVOLINE Formula) giving me about 11 on AC which used to be 12.5 a month back i own 2007 shaped Passo non CVT I also have Cleaned Air Filter and i usually clean Throlet every month from Nasa spary

I guess you will have to go thru the complete list as we discussed last time i.e. plugs, CAT, oil, and may be gear oil if that is due. than reset the odo and take the car for a straight road drive for 30 mins :).
but do send me the new radiator pics because I know somone who is interested in an upgrade.

Hi Wajhat i will try to get you the picture but its already in my car which will be hard to give you clear picture what i will do i will be soon visiting to Spare parts shop (hashmi autos plaza karachi ) i will get you the clear picture of radiator i will update you after putting 5w-30 (zic)? as well as changing the filter Transmission oil was changed last time so that doesnt need to be replaced .

Now this is something that I need to get checked. Any reliable ac mechanic that you would recommend ?

Although drop in pick is a new thing and could be because of the AC compressor choking, but fuel filter replacement was long due. I have been looking for one for so long but havent found yet.

well I had to read these values from a toyota yaris manual (Gulf specs) but seem to work fine with my passo as well. any ac technician will have the gauge you can just ask him to connect on both high and low sides and read the values with ac on 2nd position and accelerator slightly pressed.

if you already have all factors covered I am surprised why you are still having this issue. could you confirm few things just for my reference please:
1. tyre size you are using?
2. at what mileage last time CAT converter was washed?
3. any additives you are using with petrol?
4. does your car decrease oil level after a month or so?

as for fuel pump filter assembly I already explained that you can get it from mithu khan in RWP but you will have to irritate the guy enough to do it for you else they keep saying just change the whole pump.
generally if the fuel filter is choked you will either have problem starting or the car will cause missing at with accelerator pedal pressed.

I told you I drive on kashmir highway islamabad. Yesterday did tunning and throttle body cleaned. Car was sluggish before tunning but now it is fine.

4. No, using LM5W-30. oil level never dropped, driven 5000 Km so far since last drain . oil filter changed like 1000 km ago

The acceleration issue is at low rpm only. at higher speed the accelaration is fine. back in march whenever I used to put transmission to drive or reverse gear, the car would start rolling itself. Now I need to press pedal a little bit to get rolling
