Yes, that was from visually looking at the original battery fitted to the 2014 Passo I bought for my son. It is sold now so I cannot confirm if the battery was 36 or 38 Amps. The heaviest load will determine what size of battery will be needed for any car. That would be the starter motor. There is something called cold cranking amps. This is the amount of Amps a battery car deliver in the very cold climate. The lower the temperature the lesser is the amount of Amps a battery can deliver. So the battery installed must be able to be able to start the car in sub zero temperatures. The above are some of the major factors deciding the size of battery required for a car.
I do not have access to a Suzuki owner's manual so I am not in a position to comment on the size of battery originally supplied with this car. In my humble opinion the Suzuki Mehran should also be having a 36 or 38 Amp-hr battery. 200cc here or there really should not have such an impact that a battery has to be 10Amps more or less. Our local "ustaads", for some reason, love installing the biggest battery they can fit in the space provided. Don't know what's the logic.
