if you are in isb/rwp just go to national market there are some good key cutting and programming shops. one of my key fob buttons were also damaged so the guy just took the small circuit board out and fixed the housing of another button on my existing soldered button base. it has been working perfectly since than. I am even thinking of getting a spare fob from them but they are asking 5000 just for programming the fob so dont really want to spend that much on a spare key.
someone else asked here purpose of keyfob (remote) well it is used for keyless entry, if u r not that keen u can just get a normal after market central locking system installed for much less than the cost of programming a keyfob for your car. unless your car has imobilizer function orignal toyota key fobs are just for open and close.
