SO recently got the 2007 Passo from someone who kept the car in really nice condition. When they handed me the car, the fuel average read 11.0 km/l in a city like Karachi. I was impressed and tbh expected that to be. But as days pass by the average is getting worse. Normally it says around 7.9 for me these days. Can someone explain what is going wrong. Also can someone suggest a good Mechanic. Need to tune it and get the AC Compressor fixed.

Can somebody confirm that the inside of the hood is painted or not on passo's ? I saw mine and it has slight uneven over spray inside the hood and also there is slight engine oil coming out of the oil cap ?

Don't worry, mine is also same.

My car is white but inside hood is silver.

It is basically the primer paint of hood.

I have seen this in many other jdms also

I want to install this 15inch rim in my passo
Does anyone have experience of putting 15inch rim in passo?

Bad experience... It's not vitz. Handling suffers after 90km/hr horrible plus with people it rubs and scuffs and taking full lock to lock pull turns it's hinders as it touches around.
Not recommended... 14s fine 175/70/14 max or 185/65/14

You can put 15” rims in passo but you should follow the following rules:

1) The total wheel diameter should be as close to stock wheel as possible, not exceeding by 3%.

This means that you should use low profile tyres accordingly.

2) Proper offset should be selected as per recommended range.

I have installed 17” rims in Vitz with excellent results after proper calculations.

Very good, as the final diameter is only 0.5 inches greater than stock wheels.

Stock wheel size: 165/70 R14

I have installed: 205/40 R17

Excellent results as the vehicle done not touch on large speed breakers with 3 persons sitting at the back.

I am planning to buy a car and my choice is either Passo (2010 above model) vs. Vitz (2010 2nd generation) since my budget is between 9 lac to 10 lacs.

Here is the deal:
Passo:
I have heard that Passo is more fuel efficient as compare to vitz. As it is more economical car with good features.

Vitz:
Vitz exterior and interior looks beautiful & also its more comfortable but on the other hand its quite expensive in term of maintenance & fuel consumption.

More recommendations are welcomed.

Yes Passo is more economical and practical in many aspects.. It's visually not attractive as compared to Vitz and It's resale is a bit low too. Buy it and then keep it for a long period of time.
