Dear friends

This is the first time I am using this forum. I do not reside in Pakistan but in Malta, Europe - where we have a large number of Toyota Passo cars imported from Japan.

I am hoping one of you can help me. My Passo is a 2013 KGC30 model and I would like to install a cd player with bluetooth function on it, possibly even GPS. I cannot find a used Toyota head unit with cd and bluetooth so I was thinking of buying a non-Toyota one but I don't know what I should be looking for in terms of size - I want to make sure I can fit it into the car. Has anyone of you had such an experience?

Neville Welcome to the forum, to answer your question I believe if you are talking a JDM spec Passo 2013 any double DIN player should fit fine. to make sure just use a measuring tape and check the compartment size in your car and than check the specs of 2DIN (generally its 7Lx4H) inches dvd player online.
as for brand, you may find some modified Japanese players where the language has been changed to english but I think the new Chinese players with GPS and DVR functions are not as bad either. I have personally used a Clasonic gps unit in my car and it has been working fine for past 2 years, also if you ask the guys selling these aftermarket player they can change the logo and splashscreen for your to make it look like Toyota brand dvdplayer (obviously it would work like an OEM machine but just for looks).

I am having Toyota passo 2014 X. Can you suggest from where I can get it's front seats replaced from cut seats to sofa seats,what should be price of seats and does it sit on same screws as that of cut seats or need to drill holes for it

Need Guidance from experts of Passo, i am going to purchase Passo 2009, i have two option 1.3L and 1.0L.
Need suggestion in following.
1. Which one has good ride?
2. How much difference is in fuel economy?
3. What will be difference of registration charges between 1.3 an 1L for non filer in Islamabad?

Expert opinion will be highly appreciated.

Definitely 1.3 should be better in drive than 1.0.initial cost of 1.3 is more than 1.0.then comes economy there should not be much of difference .Regd difference and annual tax you can consult this page for better understanding

My car is also consuming oil, after 4000 km it's quantity reduces by 0.8-1 litre. Any remedy for that . Although oil light never show up.

O- 20W of liqui Moly is around 5000. Change it after interval of 6000km or 6 months which ever is earlier.in isb you can get it from I 8 markaz liqui Moly authorized dealer

Assalamualaikum everyone. My 2014 Toyota passo recently got a problem that when I try to accelerate the car downshifts and changes gear, and the engine revs up but the car doesn't accelerate like it should even on full throttle. Can someone explain what could be the cause of this issue and what's the solution. Also can someone suggest a good mechanic for Japanese cars in Karachi.

Get your Catalytic Converter checked. Most probably that is the culprit.

I was using initally ZIC X7 and did not observe any oil consumption. at Round 85000 Km I changed to LM 10W40 and found out after 4000 km that oil quantity is less by 0.8 liter. I got Its PCV valve changed however it still consuming oil.
Now I have changed oil to total Quartz 9000 5w30
