i need help regarding my car Passo 2008 i am getting ABS,AIRBAGS,KEY,IMMOBILIZER lights after recent rains in Karachi previously i have no problem with the car but car was parked outside after rain all these signs started to shown any one have any idea what to do?

Aslam o aliqm dear all,
I have recently sold my Altis 1.6 L 2012 cruistronic, body wise toally untouched, but it was giving me some mechanical issues, plus its fuel consumption was very bad in local due to 4 speed triptronic gears.
Now searching for some good car, Please advise me between Vitz 2014-2016, Passo 2014-16 and Aqua 2012-2014. I need some comfortable car with good fuel economy. i only use the car 8000-10000 km per year.
i know that Aqua is very fuel efficient, but its token tax is too much and balances the fuel saving as of my use. 2ndly it is not very comfortable car.
I have kept 2013/2016 vitz for almost 3 years and that was very comfortable and tension free car, the only issue was its bad fuel consumption IN LOCAL like Altis.
I know that Passo has smaller boot as compared to Altis and Vitz/Aqua. But How is the comfort level of Passo as compared to Vitz and Altis. How is its fuel economy.
Please suggest.

IMO you may go for Passo. It won't disappoint you.

Try to reset the ECU, it might be because the water. If the issue still remains then check with the good mechanics.

Go for Passo, it will be the best option you wont regret your decision.
And do go for the latest model of Passo they call it moda, dude that car has attractive exterior and interior. I simply love it

I've Passo 2017 model, it have very ugly looking front which i personally dont like. I like the front of the moda car.
Is it possible to change the front end of the car with the new one, have any one tried ?

Passo will have similar average as Vitz in local. Both cars are heavy so don't give great fuel economy in stop and go and break traffic ie our local driving conditions.

On highways they're great.

In local expect less than 13km/l for most cases. For congested traffic it does go down till 10-11km/L long term strictly local with AC on.

In comfort I believe Vitz is a bit ahead due to having proper car driving posture.. but Passo isn't too bad either.

Resale and parts obviously Vitz is ahead.

Passo's AC is not as good as Vitz. Much smaller.

how to reset ECU? I have disconnect battery then put it on but still same problem :(.

Another procedure can be:

1. Remove the cable from -ve terminal of the battery.
2. Properly cover the -ve terminal of the battery with some cloth, etc. So that no wire, metal, etc. Touches it so as to rssult in short circuiting (why I am saying it, I'll explain later).
3. Manage a heavy duty jump start cable.
4. Car must be properly OFF, with no inflammable thing near by.
5. First Connect one of the Jumper Cable's ends with the wire which has been removed from the -ve terminal of the battery, and other end with the +ve terminal of the battery.
6. Leave it as such for at least half an hour.
7. Then first remove the +ve side cable, and then the -ve side cable.
8. Connect the wire with the -ve terminal of the battery, which had been removed in step 1.
9. Do the idle relearn procedure.
10. Starr the engine and you are good to go.

I somewhat agree with you. I never felt my seat uncomfortable for long routes, but now after a drive of 8 to 9 hours it makes my back pain and it feels like ky bs ab bs aur ni chalti car.

I agree that vitz has better resale and part availabilty but l loved the driving of passo then vitz. i had driven passo from lahore to naran with total four people and it did not gave any problem at all. i am not sure about of vitz but my friend said that my passo has slightly better pickup then his vitz.
locally, i used to get 11-12kpml and on highway 16-17kmpl.
i am talking about the vitz 2015

Totally agreed! I had a similar experience when I took my Passo with 5 persons on-board to Highland Country Club & Resort, Pir Sohawa, Islamabad, back in 2017-2018, and it moved like a charm.

l loved the driving of passo then vitz

These are personal choices, but Sofa Seats of Passo have a comfortable feeling of their own.

I have owned both Passo and Vitz, and IMO, Pick of Vitz is better, may be due to better aerodynamic shape (although body weight of Vitz seems more than Passo IMO, resulting in better handling).

Yes It moves like charm, I took my car to Malam Jabba Top Near the ski resort this year in Feb with 6 people (adults) on board and the luggage. I never had to floor the pedal it just glided to top. I did not even use the snow chain, i could see people tying chains on the tires, and some guys were like chain laga lo warna car slip ho gi, but never happened. .

My boon 2012 shows a check engine light from last few months but because we were in so much panic that I had no time to get it fixed.. if it would have stalled or crashed I had to leave it as is due to emergencies in home.

so I have been using it as is with the check engine light always on.... I do have odb and now as I have releved from medical emergencies so I got ti scanned it has o2 sensor issue...

I got the error removed and it showed up again as another but different o2 error

then I got it removed again and then it came back with old o2 issue

o2 sensor has been changed in last week three time one time with brand new one and two times with bilal ganj ones...

I wonder if all O2 sensors are faulty or if the faul is some where else.. as a last resort the mechni put an adaptor before O2 sensor... to increase distance between the flowing gases and sensor but the error came on the way back home again.. lol
