Brother kindly guide me for the following questions ,, i will be very grateful of you....i am a middle class and will go for a japenes car with installment plan as offered by my bank i am working with;
1.which one is fuel efficient??? 660 or 1000
2.which is better to purchase a Daihatsu Move or Boon *Keeping in mind the fuel efficiency
3.Does Move have a resale value ?
4.I personaly want to get boon or passo but affraid of the fuel efficiency
7.I am told move go beyond 15 KM with AC
8.I can afford 12-14 KM with AC,,,which one is better Passo or Move
6.Any suggestion for resaleable car regarding MOve,Passo,Boon,EK Wagon.

Fuel wise, there is not much difference between 660 and 1.0.

Market wise passo is good. You will get 13kmpl + with AC with light foot driving. Go for it.

Light foot means avoid unnecessary pressure on accelerater for the purpose of fast acceleration. Accelerate with normal speed, keep the RPM down below 2000. Light foot driving is also applicable / recommended on manual tranny cars.

Get it checked from a reliable mechanic. Ask for original auction sheet, if you are buying it from a dealer, ask him to verify it from online server (in karachi most of dealers are giving this facility), buy a 3.5 plus grade car. Car should be recently cleared from port. (Within a week or 10 to 15 days).

for people who are looking for engine number on this 1KR-FE engine, here is the reference pic.

you can have a look using a torch flashlight, there is written in embose "1KR-FE" in very large font, and below that there is engine number, the part i highlighted in pic.

so that while turning, tyre side pe na lage ? ( im asking maximum width )

155 is the stock size, many other passo's which have 14 inch rims have factory fitter 165mm wide tyres.
can we install 175 or 185 ?

Salam, all passo interested people, I've purchased White Passo 2008. .it has 6 to 8 air bags(not sure if they're 6 or 8), DVD screen, and "ION and CLEAN" option and Smart key along. But the problem is it's a/c is not working, the blower works but when I press a/c's button I don't hear the compressor switching on (that 'tucc' wali sound) and the blower just gives normal air. How can I identify the problem? Is the problem likely to be with a/c compressor or some electronic fuse? And where is the a/c compressor located in Passo? Pakwheel brothers please help me out, you concern will be appreciated.

is it with Dual headlights with HID ?

Passo or (all new/japanese cars doesnt give tucc sound) it just stay calm, a lil load is felt on engine,
if you feel some difference is engine sound, load , etc. then the compressor is turned on, and most probably the AC gas is not filled.

but if the compressor doesnt turned on, then first of all check the Fuses, its in the dashboard, under the glove box,

There are two fuse boxes...one in engine compartment left side and other behind dashboard....ac compressor fuse is in engine compartment
