Guys today I received an email from Indus motor person stating that prius Pakistan is going out for sale in december by IMC, pricing PKR 5 million.
following is the image of spec table I received.
any one having any further information, plz share....

above specs and pics are tentative for prius Pakistan....

Are they Launching the PRIUS PLUS or Standard Prius? Cuz the Middle one is Standard, & Up & Down are PRIUS PLUS!

Standard feature for Prius North America. Not sure how it is in other countries. But US model comes with more always.

Well thats a good thing, That the JDM PRIUS can get Engine Services & their Future is Secure as Both Standard & Plus have same
1.8 Liter Engine. We can Get JDM Prius at Lesser Price, & Can get Services for it.

If it has all the options, meaning the BEST Prius available and a 2013- brand new model, i would hesitate a bit, but still get it.
The self park feature is cool, can it detect a donkey-cart coming from behind though?
And Indus better give like 4-5 years warranty on battery and 3 years/80,000-100,000km warranty on the car/engine.

Still, 50 lacs..... could get a civic and a used Prius and still cash left over though

Yar 5 Million Is Lot Of Money, In This Money (5 Million) We Can Buy BMW 3 Series Or Audi, Which Are Far Better And Luxurious Brands Than Toyota, I Am Still Surprised 5 Million Na Yar, One Can Buy 2 Civics, Or Two Top Of Line Toyota Altis, Or Can Buy Mark X Or Land Cruiser, If Toyota Want To Make It A Success Than They Have To Price It At Max 27 Lack, Nothing More Than That. IMO Prius In 5 Million Would Be A Huge Flop, And Would Be Discontinued Very Early Like Cruze.

If this news is true, it's going to be another flop like toyota Avanza, honda crv and the new Honda accord available from toyota and honda details respectively.
And this is for sure that second hand JDM's ke price will go down. Provided that some one buys the prius from indus motors. Otherwise if indus sells the prius at the rate of one to two units per month, I don't think the car dealers will find it too competitive to reduce their prices

Guys this news is fake, no one will buy Prius for 50 Laks. If indus wants to make it success than it has to be assemble in Pakistan with max price of 20 to 25 Lakh.

Person who can afford 30 Lakh new car can also afford 100 RS plus per liter petrol.
