In 2016 I bought a white coloured Civic Turbo. When went to take delivery I observed similar swirls and shades of black smoke in the paint. On my complaint they took the car back to wash area for fresh wash. When returned, the car had fog in the headlights. They started applying compound on paint which increased swirls further but black smoke disappeared. Other cars were shining but mine was dull as old. I refused to take delivery and they assured to correct issues.
After 3/4 days when I again went to take delivery the car was all covered with dust and rain marks and its rear bumper was broken. I was totally shocked. The sale guy told me when the car was being driven back to the parking yard from showroom it was hit from the backside due to rain.
On seeing such condition of zero meter car I did not know how to react. I misbehaved with the poor sale guy and the owner. Then they removed a bumper of other new car and put that in mine. To save myself from further frustation I accepted the delivery. Colour of that bumper was slightly different from rest of the car and it remained so. And other paint issues diminished when the car was washed outside the authorized dealership for 2/3 times. About the fog in headlights the company said was normal.
Long story short new cars of all brands have problems. It is their responsibility to give 100% fault free cars but it is normal that out of thousands of car parts a few may go wrong.
After raising the issue with them we have two options in such situations. Either to stick to our complaint or be patient over what wrong has been done or being done to us, forgiving towards others so that Allah Pak may forgive us for our shortcomings too and also be thankful to the Almighty for thousands rights and just one wrong.
