A.O.A members. I need help regarding gear oil of toyota vitz i have 2015 smile edition 1.0 litre vitz 55k millege total.. mechanic at toyota asked me to chage gear oil of vitz . I do things after research , i am here to ask which gear oil is best for cvti transmission of vitz and which brand is best .Also plz suggest me place on multan for gear oil change and any other suggestion...

Cvt TC and CVT FE. Two types of fluids being used.. check what is imprinted on gear oil input bolt..it will be CVT TC made by Toyota Japan

for 2014 onward facelift models it is cvt FE fluid.
TC is for pre facelift 2011 to 2014 and 2nd gen

Well, doing research on this was the best thing you did. Use only toyota cvt oil. Above comments have already suggested you the right oil.
Do not open pan at all costs even if toyota dealership ask you to do that. They will either underfill or overfill afterwards. Go to any oil shop and take some empty oil can with you. Ask mechanic to open drain nut and inner leveling plastic tube. Drain all oil in empty can. Measure it and pour same quantity inside with just 50ml more then measured quantity. Drive and repeat the process if you have same quantity of oil left behind.
I don't know about the quantity that comes out in case of vitz, but in case of corolla 1.8 cvt its 2.0-2.2L that drains out. For vitz it must be less then that so you can repeat the process twice.
You cannot change whole oil at once so its recommended that you change at regular intervals like I change cvt oil after a year or 35k kms.

CVT TC from 2012 onwards models
.as far amount is comc5it is approx 3.8L...can is of 4L and very small amount is left..opening Pan and cleaning of gear filter is also done as there is lot of metal residues in filter..This is what Toyota does

Mid 2012 and onward are CVT FE and pre 2012 are CVT TC.

For the oil change, the biggest issue is nobody in Pk or very few workshops know how to properly change the CVT oil.

Method @haseeb.basharat mentioned is also incorrect. Because you can never find out the correct level of the oil this way.

In the proper way car has to be cooled first, this shouldn't be done on a warm car.

Then CVT oil drained, Refilled, car is started and CVT fluid temperature monitored, along with shifting gears. once it reaches 35-45C then slight overflow is checked at the bottom if it's not there then more more oil is added. Otherwise level's good.

But if you can't find anyone who does the correct procedure then the desi method that people use here which basharat brother mentioned can also be done.

I have observations on your comment that the method I told is complex but "MOSTLY" correct ...
Two comments/corrections:

There cant be median situation that "mostly" correct - either it is correct or either it is wrong.
I have very clearly stated that the procedure that I defined in not my invention - rather it is "OEM" stated procedure - there is no other way to do it right!

Please change CVT fluid after 2 years or 55k KM (as per manual) whichever comes first - however the conservative approach of yours is on safe side!
The correct level cannot be achieved by any short cut method by simply measure and re-fill - if it was that simple then OEM always tells the easy ways - there are so many factors that will make you wrong if you do it like you suggested - DO NOT take risk of loosing the CVT. This is the fluid which I got 3 month ago. Previous oil was dirty and there was lot of debri in pan and filter. So unless u open and clean it u can not keep ur new fluid clean

If u brought from open market, then i doubt its authenticity, bcz these packing are flooding from china, from fake honda dw1 atf to fake porsche oils, dats why i recommend to buy from dealership, but get labor done from ur own choice place.
