Assalam walikum guys...i've bought vitz 2007 1.0 from my couzin and i'm facing some problems....my car was jerking...got cvt - tc oil changed...its still the same....when speed drops to 20km/h it gives a jerk....like something is stopping car....got plugs changed....on pressing pedal lil hard it starts missing nd then its normal....on full revs my car is giving blue smoke...some mechanics say that its katcha dhuan or is ko oil ki maar parhi hui hai...at 3000kms i change engine oil regularly...some say rings are gone......i have no issue wid pick...pick is good.....i dont trust mechanics...coz aaj kal mechanic farig he bethay hotay hain....customer ko gher te hain....guys expert plz help me out....

(RehanRRR) i think you should also check your "ignition coils" cuze the defective ignition coils result into missing/jerks. As far as smoke is conerned I would recommend you to visit Toyota motors if you do not trust the local mechanics - they will give you genuine advice.

And Really? the mileage is low? okay I thought it was supposed to be around that. Well I didn't get any of these things done as i said i don't trust the mechaninc in my area (malir cantt, Karachi) I will get the front disc pads replaced if you say so. But it would be really helpful for me if you could help me look for a decent mechanic for doing it and also for the other servicing you mentioned.

Hey Guys;

I have 04 Vitz (milage 107K). I have recently been facing a strange issue that comes off and on since last 2 months but frequency has increased recently. The problem is that sometimes my car would start and as soon as I let go of the accelerator its turns off i.e it will stay turned on as long as the accelerator is pressed. First time this happened, I used both feets to drive the car to mechanic that was about 20-25 mins drive however the issue disappeared and after checking everything he could not find any issue. Last time I took it to Toyota Central and they say that car seems perfectly alright and they could not find any issue. They suggested to get the computer testing done but that costs around 9K even which does not guarantee resolution for this issue.

Would highly appreciate if someone could help me to get this issue resolved.

Hi,
I am a petroleum engineer by profession so here is the adivce. Never mix two different brands of petrol in your engine, it causes fumes, carbon and knocking since the grade of every petrol company is different. Always pick a couple of fuel stations in the city and dont change frequently. if you live in isb, then F-6 caltex is the best.Good luck!!

Vitz 2007 (New Shape) and onward's is good on CNG ? If It's good then i'll think to switch from my Santro to Vitz ... Please need input from users who own vitz and running it on CNG ...

I have some serious problems with my 2003 Vitz

1. On CNG with AC ON brake gets hard and didnt work when driving slow.
2. On CNG when i stop on signal with AC on, Most of the times it didnt gets any pick and race didnt work at all, then i just switch to petrol to move the car.

no its not the kind of sound thats like something loose, the tutterin that happens is almost like knockin but its like the car accelerates good in one gear but when it changes over to the next one there it almost stalls n goes tuk tuk tuk tuk n even when i press the accelerator hard that car accelerates but that tuk tuk tuk becomes weak but still is there.
The other sound comes if i put the car in D n let it go itself without pressing the accelerator, after it goes to about 5 kph itself, press the accelerator a lil n theres this "BHUK" or a slight "DHUK" sort of noise...storm said something might be loose but theres nothing loose i got it checked at toyota, it also hapens when if going in a low gear leave the accelerator, when the car starts to decelerate...press the accelerator very very light but the car will keep on Deceleratin for a second n with a lag of one second the BHUK sound comes n then the car picks up again.

So far the only solution I have found to put 100% Hi-Octane fuel from a Company operated PSO pump. This is the only way the knocking sound goes away. I have gotten my car checked at various Toyota service centers and DEINFA Pit Stop 2S service center. They all say there is nothing wrong with the car, doesn't need change in spark plugs, fuel filter or CVT fuel. Do other people run it on normal fuel and don't get any engine noise while accelerating from low gear?

Guys i own a 2007 Vitz. I've had it since 2 years and i haven't had anything changed besides the engine oil, obviously. Please guide me in what should i get changed and/or serviced! It has done 66000km which is the genuine mileage!

Salam.
I had a bad bad day today. I live in Karachi. I went to Plaza to get HIDs for my Vitz 2006, on my way back i stopped at the mobile mall in Sadar for like 5 minutes. Parked the car and when I came back after just 5 MINUTES, both the side view mirrors were gone. I just got the car 1 month ago and was planning to spend money on it but now i have to deal with this.
Guys my advice to you all is take very good care of your Vitz and install a good security system (I hadn't installed it yet) and also don't leave it alone in shady areas.
Now my question is guys where can i get used side view mirrors and how much will they cost me, my mechanic said he will get me a pair for 10 to 12k from Sher Shah but I find it hard to believe. What do you say guys?
