flush would not worse up the condition it will only help to remove deposits and sludge buildup from the oil galleries.
the oil consumption would not be doubled up so dont be afraid then engine would be a little noisier due to the removal of oil varnish build up in crank shaft and cam shaft bearings and it does happens when we flush engine oil on old engines.

dont be afraid keep driving it normally and regularly check the engine oil level every 2 days.
after flush you had feeled the engine would be more lighter then before its the benifit of engine oil flush i Do recomend my fellows and clients to flush out every after 3 oil changes to keep the engine oil rings and oil galleries cleared out of any build up. it helps a lot in this scenario.
keep driving this 10W-40 Caltex oil and Again Recheck engine oil every 2 days and you would be good to go.
if the oil consumption would bother your more then the only soloution is the engine rebuild and after that stick to OEM Viscosities and it would last for years

yes you are right some toyota engines do consume the oil. but when you smoke test those engine no smoke is found in that case keep the engine driving and only check the oil levels after some time it would keep the engine running in perfect condition.
i has dealt so many Prius cases which had no visual Blue smoke and they pass all of our tests( Compression ,Engine Stress Test etc ) and still consume engine oil when driven on highways when cruised more then 130km/h speed limit. in those scenarios the fault was the flash point of engine oil shifting on high quality class 3 oils helped reducing the symptom and improves the fault where as in few cases symptoms stays same and i recomend the custom drain intervals for those vehicles and they are running great.
But once the visual smoke is detected that is the time to consider it a serious threat and repair it asap or extending the driveability would detorites much of the engine parts further

Thanks for your response and guidance. It will differently boost up my moral. As after spending 13.5 lack if you get issues like that then it decrease your energy level. I am hopeful that by flushing the engine and moving to 10W-40 the oil reducing issue will be resolve INSHALLAH.

Could you please explain OEM Viscosities. Is this any type of engine oil. If yes which one?

I need your help. 3 Months ago in january, I have bought a Toyota Vitz 2015 model on 64k ODO meter reading. After buying I did some periodic maintenance after having the discussion in the forum in which I Have also changed CVTF oil.

I use Toyota Genuine CVTF oil 4-liter tin pack silver color. But recently I have come to know that there is two variant of CVTF one is TC and other is FE. My Toyota vitz supports FE one.

At the time of change, I didn't know about that. SO what shall I do now? Shall I change the whole oil again OR just use it what I have?

Also What is the CVT oil capacity for Toyota Vitz? Some say you must measure at the time of drain or some say 6.23 liter when its fully drained. My mechanics drained 4 liters of oil and then pour 4 liters new one after measuring.

no need to worry you are good to go with TC too. Both are compatible with the k410 CVT transmission. Fe is a little viscious then TC nothing else. Keep it driving the fill in quantity differs how it was drained if you remove the oil pan then miximum amount is 4 liters only. And if the oil is drained through drain nut only then the refill quantity differs according to fluid temperature.
Nothing to worry about.

@rajaatta thats a big relief I am having now. Yes mechanic remove the oil pan only so thats why 4 liter was drained. So I believe its not necessary to drained all of the CVT fluid completely? Only changing 4 liter is good?

also Vitz 2015 model CVT oil inlet bolt shows FE should be used. Just confirming am I good with TC? People are saying it will damage the gear system if FE is required then use FE because both are very much different.

If your transmission get's damaged due to use of TC fluid it's my open offer for you that I would provide you with a complete rebuild of your transmission free of any cost. Go ahead mark my words.

If you are changing the fluI'd at a low drain interval let's say 20000kms then just unplug the drain nut and drain the oil and then at correct temperature range which is 46 degree Celsius level up the fluid and you are good to go.
Most of the time 2.4 liters is enough in most cases which I had drained.

I bought a car fresh import on 64000 kms Immediately after buying I changed it by removing oil pan only. And 4 liter was drained and 4 liter was filled up.

Sir, I have another query which is related to fuel average. I have bought a Vitz 2015 model on 64 k reading fresh import. From very first day my car was giving me average of 14.3 km/l. After buying I changed the Oil with 5w-30, Air filter, Cabin filter,CVT oil change. And also It was winter season so in whole winter my car gave me 14.3.

Now as the summer has started. I am using AC now as well. I have recently changed the oil with 5w-30 Totoal Quartz. Air filter is also changed. Butt my car fuel average is keep on dropping like its now giving me 13.8 km/l. Off course I have frequent start and stop in city travelling. But I know some people who are having more than 15 km/l

Also My tire size is 185/70/R14. Can you please advice how to increase average Or What I am having is good so far?

Use only 0w20 in the new gen vote don't buy junk oils instead use toyota oem 0w20
