anyone having vitz 2014/15 model and using without spacers?
Mine has spacers installed in all four springs and i am thinking to get the front ones removed what do you guys say?

I have Vitz 2013 modle.

With rear after market springs to increase height of car . But i dont like increase height i like OEM.

Aftermarket Springs are soft but long thus increasing car height.

If anyone interested in exchanging my aftermarket springs with oem one please contact me on Pakwheels.

I would sincerely suggest to have them removed ASAP.

Stick with the stock, 14" Steel Rims, which come with the car, and if ground clearance issue is such that you cannot live without it, opt for 185/70/R14 tyres on 14" stock rims.

This size seems to me the most reasonable, and balanced option.

poured in shell 5w20 in vitz spider shape, fuel avg increased to almost 13km/l. Also poured in pso's euro 5 hi octane from paf base faisal pump karachi. Car's pick has increased an almost day to night difference. Low end torrque is further improved and it accelerates veryy smoothly..

I am facing this weird issue in my 2006 Vitz. The temperature light (COOL) not the red one comes up at the start just as it comes on usually. But then it doesn't go out like even after 30+ mins of drive it stays and sometimes it stays there even longer. When it does go out the car vibrates if I am driving slow and sometimes even the engine shuts off. Sometimes it comes up multiple times during drive and the car takes a bit of jerk every time it goes out.

I got it checked, serviced the radiator. The issue however kept popping up for a week or so and then completely vanished for 2-3 weeks until today. The car started fine today and then in the middle of the drive the light came up and then went away after a few seconds and then it came back and didn't go away for the rest of the drive which was around 20KMs.

My car is done around 150k+ miles. I am at the end of my wits here, any guidance would be appreciated.

get your thermostat valve checked probably it is not working as intended and not letting the water in and out at intended temperatures.

Yes you can. I have been their with same load you are specifying. Zigzag drive techniques can also be used too.

Assalam o alaikum I own vitz 2007 1.0 116000km on odo. I purchased it one month ago while i was driving on motorway on 120 i noticed check engine light lowered speed to 100-110 it vanished with bad fuel average. I did tuning of the car changed its spark plugs air filter and get cat cleaned. After this fuel average changed to 15km/litre. After this I drove it almost about 3000kms mostly on motorway on speed of 100-110 in my last journey I drove it on 120 speed and again after driving some time check engine light appeared slowed the car to 100 and it vanished. What is the cause of it? Please guide what to do with it. When I bought that car I used 20w-50 oil grade.

Any oil other than 5w-30 is harmful for this engine and destroy it. And u r using 20-50 which is too thick. Change your oil immediatly otherwise soon u will have to change your engine.

using 5w20 personally in 2015 vitz

Wa Alaikum Salam.

If engine health is fine and there are no oil consumption issues, then 10w-40, fully synthetic, by ZIC, would best suit your ride.

20w-50 is quite thick oil for your car, unless / until rings, pistons,, etc. are badly worn out.

No oil consumption issue everything is fine except that check engine light on 120 speed

If in your suggestion that check engine light is due to that oil grade I will change it.

Nope. I don't think that check engine light is due to oil grade.

Most probably, its due to some issue(s) in either air intake systems, or exhaust systems, or both.

It can be best confirmed by checking your car via OBD Scanner, looking for the error code(s) and taking remedial actions accordingly.

check engine light in this scenario probably has nothing to do with oil. its probably the fuel pump which is not providing enough fuel pressure for higher speeds. get it checked, better is to get the car scanned using error code scanner and than proceed from there for the fix.

Update!!! Today I got my car scanned only one error code was found p0712 low temperature sensor input which further eliminated by just tightening the grips of sensor. But I am not satisfied because I think temperature sensor is just related to car heat indication what is its relation with check engine light only at 120 speed?
