Alright I'll ask the mechanic to check that, I have been driving the car since then as no one is able to diagnose the issue.

Since yesterday whenever the car stops or slows down to ZERO speed the car starts shaking and then the COOL light comes up and then when I press the accelerator the car shuts down in order to prevent that I turned off the AC or put car in neutral whenever the car slowed down to zero, in doing so the light didn't come up once

It probably has to do something with the AC, radiator fan or the water thermostat valve as you said.

get your thermostat valve checked probably it is not working as intended and not letting the water in and out at intended temperatures.

Salam. Brothers my vitz 2013 is reducing oil. Im using kixx 5-30. After 1800 km drive it comes from full mark to half of dipstick . What to do? Experts plz

Get it rebuilded for better performance and fuel economy

You may also keep driving it by topping engine oil up, up to the max. mark on dipstick.

My Vitz 2007 is showing some problems while idling, initially it was having hiccups on when i used to press pedal on a signal opening but now more than often the engine just shuts down then i have to start it again and then it works fine but this only happens in initial 10 to 15 minutes of driving after that may be the car warms up or something and there is no such issue. there is no missing or any thing while speeding, it only shows this behavior while its idling.

the car starts instantly.
there is no water reduction in radiator.

i have a small OBD scanner and the errors its showing are 1603 and 1604

i took it to toyota thrice, they took a trial did numerous stop and drive but not even once it showed any symptoms so they checked the plug wires and throttle body, wires were fine and throttle body was cleaned some 5 6 months back.

I did try the new euro 5 petrol but there is no effect of it yet.

so any idea what it could be?

Gwt it diagnosed and look for fuel trims and post the short Nd long term fuel trims here

Brother as it come to half only after1800 km. So after 3000 km it will come to low level.

No.

Most of the Vitz have some oil reduction issue. Just chill. Some oil reduction is also normal.

Buy a 4L pack of 0w20 oil, the one made for your engine. Top up to full when it becomes half.

The 4L should keep you going for 4-5,000km.

Then change oil.

Keep running this engine, nothing will happen to it if you watch and top it up.

Other option is change or overhaul engine but no need of that.

Nope. IMO, you may continue using it, and if / when absolutely necessary, then your next switch must be on 10w-30 first, instead of 10w-40 directly.

5w-30 VS 10w-30 do not make considerable difference in their properties.

And in 10w-30, Caltex / Havoline only!

IMO 185/70/R14 is a very very safe bet.

Yes. You can go for 185/65/R15, But based on my personal experience, would sincerely suggest avoid doing it.

Your suspension might go OFF quite early.
