I am using 5w30 by toyota since I bought this car. I never had that issue. I am facing the issue from last week.

Assalam O Allikum Pakwheelers.
I recently bought Vitz 2017 with Toyota Safety Sense features such as LDA, PCS, Autobeam. LDA and Autobeam are working fine however PCS is not working. In the videos I saw on youtube the system alarms the driver from a certain distance through sound and autobreaks if the driver dosent react. However for PCS is not working i turned it on thrugh the button provided and using different distances but it dosent works.
Further I've messed up with navigation unit as well as I removed the battery terminals now its locked, someone please help me with that too.

About 2 weeks before I have replace head assembly of my Vitz 2012 1KrFe. All i want to know about since I install head assembly I use 5w30 and almost 450km drive after changing head assembly although I am getting good acceleration response, smooth pick and no unusual vibration but I feel car is not getting smooth on high speed like 120 or 140kmph rather on previous head assembly I genuinely feel when car shift to 5th gear very relax and smooth rather now it seems car is not getting replax and high rpm sort of also I feel little “tik tik” type sound when I lift my foot from accelerator someone one claim might be tappat need to get fix. Is it right.

Drive it till 2 oil changes and please do perform the smoke test before the warranty period of engine expires

Noted. I had pour Toyota taglon X at time of installing head assembly as I was only option available to grab so I haven’t use any loose oil just to flush assembly as it was totally dry and after running 300km I have change to 5w30 liqui moly Tec AA and replace oil filter too (original).
Ok I will do consider your suggestion and make smoke test process get done on immediate bases. Meanwhile last I also want to know is it safe to drive vehicle on high speed occasionally, like doesn’t use head assembly need to go thorough running phase.

It doesnt need any running its a used engine already completed its running at foreign land

your car's engine has hydraulically adjustable tappit. they tighten up automatically once car reaches operating temperature.

Noted. And that is why once I drive car for about few minutes or oil get reach it’s optimum temperature the sound get vanish or feel very less.

Get ot warmed up properly in winters as the max damage to 1kr is done in winters

Raja bhai could you elaborate this a bit further. Should we not drive untill the green temperature light goes off.

There's nothing wrong in driving lightly at low rpm on cold start.

In fact it's better and can speed up engine warming process .

Staying idle prolongs the warm-up. And has more chances of things going wrong.

This practice of letting car stay idle to warm it up is ancient n from carburetor cars.

Warming an dead cold engine in winters is a risky job.
How to warm up an engine with low viscosities till 5w30 is to start it up and wait for the auduable noises to go silent which takes for new cars 3 sec and old engine upto 15 seconds try to idle it for a minute and start driving very slowly by gently accelerating the engine and keeping your speed below 40km/h until the engine cool light goes off ( Remember when cool light goes off your engine coolant temperature is at 60 C and engije is still not warmed up)
And then increase your speed slowly the whole process would take aproxx 8 minutes and there you go you are ready for the performance mode.

Now come toward all of our fellows running detoriated engines with libes above 5w30 and specially 20w50 because its an thick oil it takes a little more time to warm up so wait till all noises goes away and follow the upper mentioned procedure.
