That is absolutely not true... Argument of "comparing Yaris with Corolla is like Comparing City with civic" is absolutely flawed. Civic and City are not comparable in any way.. can you state one feature which is present in top of the line city and is absent from Base model Civic. On other hand, if we were to compare Altis 1.6 with 1.5 Ativ X, there are loads of features missing in 1.6 altis. To name the few:
- CVT
- Climate control
- Key less entry
- Push Start
- VSC
- Hill Start assist
(I am sure i am missing a couple of features but you get the point)
In only two aspects 1.6 is better than 1.5 ativ x and these are little more space and generally more acceptable shape (Give yaris time... it will grow on people, infact it already has started to)
As far as people with budget above 28 going for corolla is concerned, unless one is of the view "Corolla is better than yaris cuz i have said so" Ativ 1.5 becomes a viable choice. I am not considering Grande here (Grande is superior than Yaris 1.5 ativ x and comes with a far superior price tag too)
