1.6 is a good vehicle..... no doubt about it but just an advice for you or for anyone who intends to buy a new vehicle in near future. Don't buy altis 1.6 yet, not because it's a bad vehicle , but merely because it's a product at the end of its life cycle. If you must go for corolla then hold on to your money and get a newer 12th generation when it gets launched.
As far as comparison of 1.6 and 1.5 is concerned, it's a never ending debate. Having said that do try to get a test drive of both 1.6 and 1.5 before you make a purchase decision.
I was lucky enough to experience both vehicles before making my purchase decision and I ended up choosing 1.5. Because I thought it is better value for money. I suggest you to do the same and then make your choice.
