finally a real owner. bhai showroom ma to doors thek lgrhe thay. secondly, even international reviewers complain about yaris's high noise ( thats probably why toyota offered a more soundproof windscreen here). how stiff is the suspension, near honda city ? also what about being unbalanced on high speed.. or flaoting above 100kph

Doors shut with a lot of force, feels unusual. Plus seems like some problem with the catcher as well. Maybe manufacturing fault

The sound proofing is overall fine. The cabin noise is not that much but it just changes when the engine is revd. Plus at high speeds around 140km/h, the road noise is also a bit too much maybe not for all users. The road grip is okayish. But compared to Honda City, which is a 12 years old car, Yaris does provide a good updated feel with all the "shashkaas". The suspension is on a bit stiffer side as compared to Corolla but definitely feels Toyota, the suspension is better than City's definitely.

Plus comparing it with 1.6 Corolla is not justified. Since Corolla is definitely meant to be superior than Yaris but in that quest, Toyota just dropped the quality factor in Yaris which is very unfortunate

this is a deal breaker for me. baki sb like small size ride height , floating etc brdsht hojata cvt aur shashka features kliay lekin ye quality ma compromise bd ma bht tung krega. corolla , corolla he ha after all.

market wali bat krdi. har gari k pros and cons hain, honda 10+ years se yhi city chla rha ha lekn yaris new akr bhi us se mar kha rhi ha , looks ma, engine power ma. aur size ma sirf dekhne ma city se choti lgti ha.

after all 1.6 altis is better value for money. chahe model change hojae bd ma extra 5 lac dekr b wohy feature lene hain new model ma. to better ha bnda abi lele.

Yes and this is what Toyota wants. Just like Honda didnt design City to be compared with Civic or vice versa. Similarly, Yaris cannot be compared with Corolla.

Honda City has a terrible transmission if Automatic car is taken into consideration. The jerk that you feel in gear shifting is beyond pathetic. Honda is selling that outdated car, skippes a whole generation which is a shame. Yaris is a overall better deal than City, as per my opnion. Has more to offer and quality wise better. Ride quality is better. Every one has his own respected opinion.

Yes features in Yaris maybe more but ride quality of Corolla is definitely an edge. Thats why its expensive as well.

But this is overall my user experience with Yaris, though a short one but I felt like sharing it with Pakwheels family.

So an owner cannot have two cars now? So what if he owns a corolla? If you own a yaris and prefer it, he's allowed to own a corolla and prefer it over yaris.
And the posts you have shared are from 3 years back, who knows what car he has now and frankly who cares?

Great buying decision analysis ,let me add one more variable yaris is a big compromise in this market for many buyers as it will not be first choice .

Yes already owned a Grande 17 model Pre Facelift version. Sold it at the end of 2017 due to some financial restrictions.
With the suspension being stiff I mean the response is a bit jerky. Maybe I am wrong or cant put that feeling in good words, plus i had only it for 550km on odo before I sold it. But I already said in my post I really cant compare it with a Grande, its foolish. Overall , Yaris is a nice car and a reasonable family sedan.
Also if you would like to see I can send you the ad I posted about Yaris on Pakwheels :). There is nothing to lie about. It is what it is :).
