Yes there is. Audible at low speeds. I heard it is common in yaris.

Clutch based sensor hai where as Corolla has sensor based so yes humming noise is there in every Yaris.
I myself have already gotten this inspected from Indus Team

I've city 1.3 prosmatic. i'm planning to book yaris. can anybody guide which variant should i go for and why?

Since you are driving prosmatec, its safe to assume you need an automatic which reduces the choice to 3 CVT variants.

I would suggest since you are already driving a 1.3 car, it would be better to go for ATIV 1.5 X so it feels a slight upgrade in power plus it will come with all the bells and whistles like climate control, push start, smart entry, sport & eco mode and so on. Overall it will feel like a good upgrade from City 1.3.

If budget becomes an issue, consider 1.3 ATIV as second best option - it will still be a good upgrade since since it has more safety features compared to City (air bags, VSC, TC, HSA) and a better transmission (CVT).

I got it checked from toyota 3s and they have confirmed there is a sound but they want me to leave the car for whole day to diagnose the issue. I am planning a trip to hunza in 2nd week of august and i will handover the car after i return from trip.

Toyota Township are not installing cruise control, they are only offering retractable mirror option. Upon inquiry i got the same answer that after market cruise is not save

Case have spiked due to rampant disregard of SOPs and tourists bringing in Corona virus strains. Delta variant is very prevalent now and very difficult to limit transmission.

You won't be able to safeguard yourself and your family even with most stringent measures.

As a medical professional I would strongly advise against it. Hospital ICU beds across all major cities are almost near full capacity.

PS.Vaccination does NOT protect 100% against catching the infection it only decreases morbidity & mortality.

Thanks for your advice. Yes we are keeping an eye on the covid situation and we made this plan when 3rd wave was on the decrease. We havent travelled anywhere since the start of first wave other than one day trip to islamabad

Experts - if the delivery month is July this means the car will be invoiced by 31st July or can it go beyond as well? I asked Indus and they say car can be invoiced anytime in July but there are also reports of delays.

Look at the videos from Naran over this past weekend - complete chaos, people sleeping in cars and roadside. It took people 12 hours to get from Balakot to Naran. From the videos it seemed like everyone was in northern areas during Eid week.

A lot of people have gotten their cars in the delivery months, and even before the delivery month for white colour. Mine is grey and its taking much longer.

Bhai it was 20 percent in kashmir yet the elections took place. We need to take these numbers with a pinch of salt.I have not seen it happen anywhere that people are being tested randomly.I believe the sample size is way too low to declare any kind of trend or percentage.
