Thats the first time I am hearing about it. Are there any special TOCs for it. or any extra cost?

While going uphill i was mostly on D but there were 2 or 3 steep inclines near Batakundi where i had to use triptronic. While using triptronic near babusar top i was mostly in 1st Gear because i had to overtake a lot of cars because most of them were struggling due to lack of motion and after overtaking the car comfortably took me to babusar top in 2nd Gear. While going downhill i was using triptronic 90% of the time because it proved to be really helpful otherwise i would have had to constantly apply brakes. I was mostly using 2nd Gear and sometimes 1st on steep downhill turns. On my way back i also climbed from Abbottabad to NathiaGali and that route also has some really steep inclines my car was fully loaded with 5 people and full luggage in trunk so i had to use Manual Gears mostly 1st and 2nd to maintain my speed because on D i felt the car was loosing speed and i had to press the throttle more but instead i found it more easy to use Triptronic and get it moving comfortably.

in triptronic you will have move control and even going uphill sometimes you need constant push which you can achieve through manual mode

Alhamdulillah got the delivery of my ATIV X today around 1PM. Spent some time in the car today, few impressions:

• The very first thing I was impressed by was how quiet the cabin is, the insulation and acoustic windshield really work.
• The suspension is excellent, which makes the car soft and comfortable.
• Seats are also comfortable, miss the height adjustment and thigh support could have been better.
• Stock tyres are decent, I don't think there is a pressing need to change immediately
• In Eco Mode car really struggles if you have to overtake or if there is even slight incline in road. Normal mode is decent and suitable for most times. Sport mode is really good and you enjoy the 1.5 engine fully.
• I took the car to a shopping mall close to home and on way back there was a terrible thunderstorm and GT Road was flooded badly, I had to drive the car in knee length water (it really hurt me to do this to my car on day 1 but no choice). The car performed wonderfully, I was greteful for the raised height

Will be getting airpress and mud flaps installed tomorrow inshAllah, the car looks realy incomplete without mud flaps.

Automatics don't perform good in city traffic in terms of fuel efficiency due to torque converter. If you are getting this avg in city driving then its O.K.

Congratulations Zubair. Thats really good news. When did you book your car? and for which city?
Also in the whatsapp group someone said that the stock tyres are only good for 19-20k kilometers. If someone can provide feedback on this? Mudflaps and airpress ki costs zaroor share kerna when you get them

Yes. I am getting alot of noise from them. My car has been driven 16k and the tyre noise is becoming a pain.

I booked on 28 May on partial payment, delivery month was July, got invoiced on 30 July and got delivery on 5 August. Rawal Motors Rawalpindi.

Got mud flaps for 1000, TXR air press for 4500 both from Sehgal Motors, will get it installed from a nearby shop. There is another quality in airpress for 1900-2000, but I found 4500 ones to be far superior in quality and more flexible, air press on my Swift were of same quality as 2000rs and I wasn’t satisfied with their flexibility.

As per my research on stock tyres, they are decent but degrade quickly, 15-20K depending on your driving and road etc. So you can change on delivery (new stocks will sell for 22K) or change after 15K minimum. I am opting to change later and go for ceramic coating instead right now.

Can you plz share the pics of airpress? And how would you install them? With double tape, holes in body or clips etc?
