My car was at the dealership for almost 2 1/2 weeks and the website still showed order in process...
I literally had to bash Toyota helpline to get the status changed to invoiced.
Why this happens... its any body's guess..most probably they use the window period to display the cars at the showroom as most display units (dealer quota) are sold on own money by the dealerships.
I accidently learnt that my car is already there...I went to the dealership to inspect the car, took pics of engine & chassis number and categorically told them that I will make random visits and if I see my car in the showroom I won't take delivery.
Most dealerships will never ever tell you that your car is there before the confirmation message from Indus.
I may be wrong but I think Indus is in on it to support own Mafia.
