Brother instead of blaming the car you should first see the list of factors that could've contributed to this mishap:
1) You should absolutely never brake when you're taking a corner/curve at the limits of grip. This causes the car's weight to shift forward, and causes it to tail(FWD oversteer or lift-off oversteer). Any braking should be done before the corner when the car is going straight.
2) It was raining, maybe you hit a puddle or something which caused the car to hydroplane. Regardless bro, please drive extra carefully in rain. Driving fast in dry and hot conditions is one thing, but in rain it's literal suicide.
3) I don't know the brand of Yaris' stock tires, but I'm gonna take a guess and say they are probably not as good as they should be. (Every Pakistani car except maybe Grande has crappy stock tires.)

EBD & TRC can only do so much for a car with poor mechanical grip(raised height, soft shocks, poor tires etc). But still you should get the car checked, and make sure that these systems along with ABS don't have any issues that would cause the tires to lock up.

After market electrical components addition voids the warranty. Further if the oem electrical components/parts are sourced, it is not necessary that the factory wiring diagrams are also made available this may cause the option to be available but not to the factory operation specs.

I am not sure about this. A negative is a negative regardless of where in the car you take it. The RPM increase is due to slope (on upward slope using Cruise control will increase RPM). But yes if you take Negative from a bad location (some metal connectivity and some plastic) then cruise may just work intermittently (as it may sometimes provide the negative and sometimes not).

The brakes did work, but somehow the car dipped forward and went to the left. Maybe it was because of its super soft suspension and the fact that I panicked. Back then my Yaris was new and only 1000 kilometres driven and I was struggling to understand the car's behaviour and mechanics. Can't really give my conclusion, buddy! Noteworthy,. I also got the steering and alignment inspected after the incident. Everything seemed perfect according to the Toyota 3S mechanic.

Yaris increases the RPM whenever (aftermarket) cruise is engaged no matter what is the road condition. Other Factory Fitted cruise control cars dont do it on same road.

The connection is a hit and trial way, if any one gor a success he noted which wire to splice for ground and then this info circulated as word of mouth and now same is practiced by all installers. None is trying to get the issue resolved as it works for the time being.

When you explain the above to the installer they do not understand it and say cruise ki light tu aarahi hai na, gari khud race le rahi hai na, tu phir kya masla hai. Sab theek hai.

ANY place on the car body (metal) is a Negative. You can take Negative at the nearest location on the car body (any exposed metal part because the battery negative is connected to the car body). Aftermarket guys just take the negative from exposed metal in steering wheels (which is a sort of jugaar). I connected it to proper ground on the exposed vehicle body without any plastic parts.
Most people also say that cruise control is a fuel guzzler because it usually increases RPM. A simple google will tell you hundreds of people saying RPM increased on Cruise Control (Majority in developed world are using stock cruises with same RPM increase)

The problem is not in the stick, its the connection which are wrong. The aftermarket installers dont know the correct points.

As I told you earlier ALL aftermarket guys are taking the Negative from Steering wheel metal itself and no parallel or series negative wire. You can take Negative from any part of the vehicle body (no wire needed series or any other), the negative is a negative it does not fluctuate. I am afraid the guy who told you it is working fine is right. If it was aftermarket installation effect not many would be sharing RPM increase on company fitted cruise like this one as reference.

Let me present a near to Yaris example. (Same manufacturer and same factory)

The Altis 1.8 cvt has FF cruise control and its rpm remains same as at any given speed both with or without cruise.
(I have the first hand experience on both)

Regarding Yaris
The installer follow a set pattern and do not deviate from their known connections. Hence the result is RPM increaseed on cruise usages. The wire they spliced on the name of ground may be of some other signal but overall result is higher rpm. Or this wire may have to be spliced with anothe one.

Hence its my firm belief that with a factory designed connection the car will not increase the rpm.
