No sir, you're wrong. Many car manufacturers don't even specify CVT oil change in their manuals. Or some dealers specially Toyota workshops vaguely recommend 120,000 miles.
That's miles not km.
They make it hard to change CVTf for a reason. Some says it's for lifetime but obviously some are critics and don't believe in that theory that oil lasts a lifetime.
Still less than 100,000 miles is uncommon in USA for CVT oil change. Many dealers won't touch the CVT if it's 60,000 miles or less.
In Pak many people have this obsession of changing CVT fluid unnecessarily. Even at short intervals like 40,000 km.. and Indus started this joke as well... It's an overkill for a CVT tranny.
