And with saste lifafi sahafi pw bloggers(atleast they think it that way) anything can happen no idiot wont ever notice that pw never draw a comparison of a Fortuner or maybe a corolla or a city
Thing is Indian govt taxes cars on wheel base and not cc (they arent still stuck in british raj) as wheel base grows taxes goes up to we get cheaper rolla city Fortuner here because taxes arent on wheel base here
Wheel base taxing is same reason small hatchbacks or small wheel base sedan are popular there this is why Maruti Suzuki had to make a Khusra swift desire this is why city there sales more this is why etios yaris etc are more popular there (all small wheel base sedans)
Plus Indian as an consumer market it self is far smarter then stupid shit heads here like swift was launched there with g13 and here with a latest m13 here, inferior engine was chosen to keep price low they sold enough cars this way to make it a popular thing there (although hatches and small wheel base sedan there are always in demand but still) to constantly up date it
Same thing if happened here would have being "Pak Suzuki ki sazish Govt ne bhi lifafa khaya Pakistani ko naye engine se dur rakha gaya" Pw wont ever tell people that Civic X was never sold with a turbo engine in India
And tbh I dont blame pw alone being a platform you only report thing that other wanna here
