LHR- FM- Lhe is 60hrs non-stop traveling, as per ur timing i suggest Neelum Valley

For 5 days trip, your options are Kashmir, Swat and Kaghan.

Fairy Meadows needs more time as mentioned by Shahbaz and is not an easy trek at all. But at same time, i have seen families doing this trek.

In Swat, families can do the skiing slope climb in Malam Jabba. They can also do a little hike for Byun Village from Kalam main town.

In Kaghan, the most famous is Malika Parbat basecamp trek. It will be 5-6 hrs return journey if u plan to go on foot.
Explore the area beyond main Paye Meadows shops till Makra peak foot. Another option can be Manna Meadows trek which is 5 hrs return journey.

In Kashmir, Arang Kel trek is quite favourite these days. This one is also 5 hrs return journey. It starts from Kel town in Neelum Valley.

For 5 days trip, your options are Kashmir, Swat and Kaghan.

We four friends are planning to explore neelum valley on our bikes from 23rd june 2013 to 5th july 2013. We have a total of 12 days, so we wish to extend our tour to gilgit baltistan through astore. Is that possible to enter gilgit baltistan from neelum valley ?
If not then what is the best option for us to spend these days ?
Either we should skip neelum side and go directly to gilgit via KKH ?
Last year we were stopped by army to go through babusar top towards chillas.. is that route still restricted ?

You have to come back to Muzaffarabad after visiting Neelum Valley as u cannot cross Kamri on bikes and Nuri Top opens after mid July.

So, visit Neelum and then go back through KKH to Gilgit side.

OR

Keep your tour around KKH areas like Gilgit, Baltistan and Hunza and visit Neelum some other time.
