Can we go to chilas via babusar pass on HIACE?
Can anybody help me plan how to cover skardu and Hunza in 4 days from chillas how to proceed and which places to be visited?

WA !!!

Yes, Hiace can cross Babusar but depends on weather in August. Agree it clearly with your driver about the route.

1- Chilas - Skardu: visit Kachura Lakes on way
2- Shigar and Shyok Valleys and Mantokha waterfall

hire a jeep and visit Deosai Plains

3- Skardu - Hunza
4- Visit forts, Atabad Lake and if time permits then visit Nagar Valley as well. Early morning or evening visit to Eagle's nest
5- Hunza - Chilas

What are the possible options for going to Raikot Bridge from Mansehra for six people. I mean anything like bus/rent-a-car etc???

Real question is can anyone share any contacts from where one can do booking or stuff like that...

ASA dear friends and travel gurus,

I would be visiting fairy meadows and possibiliy NP base camp at the end of August Inshallah. We are not taking camps and sleeping bags along with us nor are we making any advance bookings. I understand that lodges are available over there for visitors. I need you people to answer the following questions for me:

a) what is the best place to stay over there (any contact numbers)?
b) are lodges/ cabins easily available over there or do I need to do a booking in advance?
c) if we decided to camp over there would we be getting sleeping bags along with tents?
d) what is the essential equipment that we should be carrying with us especially for the base camp trip?

I would love to camp for the night but I have sleep issues and want to be fresh for the base camp trek the next day, therefore, I would prefer to stay in a hut/lodge.

Your help would be highly appreciated.

Has anyone here done or ever tried crossing Shauntar pass from either Rattu-Chandwali side or de other way round, from neelum to astore...............Or has anybody got solid n pure info abt dis trek?????
My major concern is de tym required to cross it from either side, not its difficulty mode n stuf!!!!!!!! Hike or jeep-route????
Plus any info abt Kalapani pass!!!!!!! is it crossable or has it become extinct????????????

i have plan to go Islamabad from karachi.Then wat u suggest me can i stay in Islamabad or move to Muree on sameday wats are the best and cheap way to tarvel from islamabad to muree and where is the normal cheap hotel for family either or in islamabad or muree wats are the cheap rent for any normal family hotel in muree in mid of september

I found Raikot sarai the best with many facilities like attach bath huts, warm water, bonfire place, huge dining, mosque, and many more.
September will off peak so don't worry about bookings there are so many huts in different lodges. Do bring some ready food as food available is not very much tasty, if there is a cook among you bring some masala mix and prepare your own food with rice, chiken, lentils or eggs. fairy meadow is a friendly valley so less worries for it. Just picnic there.

Alhamdulillah back after spending 15 days in heavens of Astore, Baltistan, Hunza, Nagar and Kaghan !!!

I climbed on the peak just behind the lake to get the 360 degree views and panoramas. The climb to Rush peak is not technical and can be done in 1-1.5 hrs. I was loosing time on sun rise and first light appeared when i reached that peak so stayed there to capture the morning shots.
