Just before reaching The Bawa mountain top, there was a Police checkpoint. Atif had the license with him. Saqib didnt. after seeing them we decided to turn back, but the police guy saw us and whistled. Asked us to come forward. He asked us to park our bikes and asked for the driving licenses. Saqib didnt have it. The police guy asked him to drop the bike there, and go back.
I intervened and asked him to leave us.. and asked him if he needs any chai paani( money) as I had seen in Movies/ Dramas. This police guy was tough. Started shouting. "Rishwat dete ho" was what he screamed !
I backed out. Atif went to him again and apologized. The guy suddenly had a change of heart and asked to pay a fine of 600 rs. and take the bike back. It was indeed a decent way of taking Rishwat (Bribe) . No paper work !
Khair. We continued and thought and tried to calm ourselves into beleiving that we actually paid the entrance fees ! lol !
While coming back, Me/Atif raced with Saqib and Aasim(my brother). We being 100+ kilos each were not able to take the lead. The skinny ones(Saqib/ Aasim) accelerated. we were just there, when Atif noticed that the petrol had finished. I started waving and shouting at Saqib/ Aasim to stop. Obviously they didnt hear and they though we were trying to catch up. They raced on.. and went ahead.
And we just sat there next to the road waiting for them. they came after 15 mins when they noticed that there was no one following them. They came back and went again to a nearby petrol station to get some fuel.
