whoa! whoa! whoa!
before you go any further I would like to tell you that it is a stupid idea and not really worth it
in my teens I did a car (corolla diesel) and successfully turbo charged it using a turbocharger off a 3C-TE, intercooler came off a Toyota Surf (top mount was made to fit like a front mount) and the fuel pump was tinkered with along with 3C atomizers
the result was wel "TERRIFIC!"
plenty of grunt down low and no matter in what gear you were that thing would just take off
but after 2 months of serious hard driving the engine gave up (well it didn't exactly as you cannot really kill these engines)
but it started losing power and the bottom end started making funny noises long story short we decided to put in a nice petrol burning engine instead of the cancer inducing diesel
and stripped the engine to find a horror show inside, that the whole of the crankshaft and rod bearings hadd dissappeared and badly gouged the crankshaft, the piston rings were resembling fried onion rings (very brittle)
even with our so called fuel "imporvements" there were signs of very high combustion chamber tempertures (running lean) (ahhhh! those good old teenage years, so much we had to learn the hard way! lol )
so in conclusion the 2C (standard) is a naturally aspirated engine and should be left alone and if turbo diesel make you horny then opt for a 3C-T or a 3C-TE and if you want to end up with a hefty repair bill go ahead turbocharge your 2C , but you have been warned.
thank you.
