As more than 95% JDMs are coming without manual. So how we should know that it has
Normal Engine
Or
Turbocharger engine ?

Why? Because Toyota has two transmissions oils.

CVTF = Continuous Variable Transmission Fluid.
CVTF TC = Continuous Variable Transmission Fluid for Turbocharge.

If we pour CVTF in CVTF TC, then it will be wrong. And Vise Versa. So how to know?

the new CVT-FE oil is low viscosity oil compared to the TC oil.

Yesterday was reading some specs on wiki. And on the right side on the page, where usually the general details are mentioned, it was written as T/C. And when we move the cursor (mouse without click) on T/C, then it was showing Turbo Charge.

By the way whats the application difference between CVT-FE and CVTF ?

there are two CVT fluids, namely the CVTTC and the CVTFE, The acronym of CVTF means "continuously variable transmission fluid" and is a general term.

08886-02505 - Toyota CVTFE
08886-02105 - Toyota CVTTC

What is the part number of the CVTF you are mentioning?

But yes, we have a tin box of 08886-02105 - Toyota CVTTC in our stock that we are going to pour in a VITZ 2008 1.3L

open the bonnet and identify the air induction, anyone who knows what an engine is knows what a turbo looks like, its the snail (gonga) bolted to the exhaust manifold and has a pipe to blow fresh air into the intake manifold.

CVT - note the model number.

for codes - the TC and FE are toyota specific codes - which even their white papers dont explain.

what frightens me is that this person says he runs a business related to cars, it may sound harsh but c'mon if Im selling samosay on a rehri I should know the complete ins and outs of making, storing and frying the samosay.

(Why this question, because when I bought the JDM the sales man said its CVT which I simple accept as truth without digging up further details). But with help of the answer of this question we can spread this information to many others who come for the oil change.

That itself implies you are working on cars - it also mandates you should know about them, one does not simply open a business without any information.

Not every trade is "aaloo piyaaz ka maal". specially anything involving machinery (cars, trucks etc)

These are used cars - and 80% of used car salesman are liars, they might even tell you its got a big block hemi 440 in it - its up to you to believe it or verify it.

The only pieces of information you can trust are information from the manufacturer, in your case - read the ID plate on the car and verify the information. Its quite sad that in your mind, used car salesmen tell the truth and all cars need are "imported oils" and no maintenance in the lifetime.

Well, frankly I never cared about the oils and never paid attention to study them unless I bought jdm since last April and got membership on pw.
Learning about oils has got my interest apart from my office work.

Would you believe that I've even asked this question (about TF & TC) directly to Exxon mobil (the actual producer of this oil) by email, and they even don't know about it. Should we call it funny or absurd?

the tc and fe are internal toyota nomenclature

just like in engines the have valvetrain designations of F and G which are for valve angle but make no sene in general english
